New Mario Kart 8 DLC!

Time to kart in other worlds

A while ago Nintendo's UK Store leaked this by accident:

Now let that all sink in for a moment. We were already getting the new update tomorrow with the Mercedes Benz cars and much needed updates for the game, and I'm excited for that, but this makes me excited for the new dlc even more.

These will be released in packs apparently and the first one comes with Tanooki Mario, Cat Peach, and Link. 4 new vehicles and 8 new courses and will release in November 2014. Pack 2 will include the Villager, Isabelle, and Dry Bowser. 4 vehicles and 8 more courses and will arrive in May 2015. I'll be getting both cause they look really cool. I really don't mind the new characters but I welcome more tracks to race on. I am really excited for Link though as far as characters go and maybe Tanooki Mario and the Blue Falcon. The courses from what's been leaked, there's Mute City from F-Zero, there's an Excitebike one, there's a Zelda one and there's an Animal Crossing one. I just hope they include Waluigi Pinball as a stage.

What I think is that this is as close as we'll get to a crossover Nintendo racing game. Think about it. They should just rename it to Super Smash Kart or Super Kart Bros or whatever. I just hope they bring more dlc, I'd love some Starfox, Metroid, and because of my brother, some Kirby dlc themed dlc with new playable characters, courses, and karts. Hopefully we get more dlc in the future.

Link looks like a badass on that motorcycle. That is until the wind hits. Then he'll regret that kilt thing.

Brother has tights on so its cool. I'd worry about bumps in the road though. Better stay away from Dount Plains 3.

Really stoked for this DLC, but the drop dates are insanely spread out. The Zelda pack is hitting in November and the Animal Crossing pack doesn't drop until May 2015. I wonder why they are waiting so long to release this stuff?

That's some pretty cool ideas for DLC, but I'd rather it just be a seperate game on a disc.

I saw DKC Tropical Freeze on display at Gamestop. Oh, so want a Wii-U. It looked gorgeous.
