Well something good happened as a result of my broken PS3

I've been going crazy since it died. I keep thinking I should start that game or I should finish this game but then I realize that the game I'm thinking of is for PS3 so I can't.

As a result I decided to find something on my 360 to play and realized I never finished Tales of Vesperia so I started that game from the beginning today. I had a 50 hour save but those who have ever played a Tales game know that they are constantly throwing new hold down this and tap that combinations which you just don't remember if you put the game down for a while.

In my case it's been years so I wouldn't know what was going on in the story or what to do next.

So back to the start for me. I was also reminded that I never did get the special soundtrack I was promised for buying the Steel case LE version. Bastards!

Anyway, I'm enjoying it so far. It almost takes my mind of my poor broken baby. Almost, but not quite.

I'm also still playing Trails in the Sky. There have been a few missions I've missed out on because they are timed but I'm taking it a little slower now and trying not to rush through the main story.

Tales of Vesperia I have about 40 hours in it and will have to start over as well lol!! It is a great game though hey by the way I thought you had Magna Karta 2 as well I have been thinking of that game as of late but I just got Ruse for like 7 bucks and I l9ve it maybe you should check it out as well and us3 your time away from your ps3 to get some older games for your 360 =-) and if you want send me a freinds request on the 360 since I wont see ya on the ps3 gamertag leeradical42 if your not on there already lol!!

Durrr lol I thought so but wasnt sure you could also get Xcom Enemy within or unknown I swear thats the best game I ever played..

Lol yea matter of fact thats where I got it on psn I meant get Enemy Within on 360 and you will forget all about psn ;) well except Rainbow moon Disgaea the Atelier series lol oh sorry jk.....

I went today and bought a controller for my 360 only to find that it won't properly store some bullshit update. Now i have to go return the controller.

I'm going to take a driver to that 360. I hate Microsoft.

Me too, but at least my 360 works for now. My Wii is still functional too but the disk drive is noisy as hell.

I'm actually enjoying Fragile Dreams on the Wii. It has campfires for healing and saving kinda like Dark Souls except that FD is way more Japanese.

Thats why I quit playing on pc cause every time I would buy a game it was a flip of the coin whether it worked or not lol!! But pc gaming is where its at especially for my flight sims =-)

Speaking of which I just bought Gothic 2 Gold on GOG yesterday and it doesn't work at all. Some moron's advice was to stop this Windows Service and that Windows Service and then start the game quickly before they reload. WTF?

that sort of thing pisses me off too. Stop this and that and then try to boot during that jury-rigged time window? No thanks.

Seems like if you don't have Windows XP.....it's a crapshoot. Something like a quarter of the games I've purchased via Humble Bundle don't work well or at all with Win8.

Fez is the latest culprit here. I swear...I'm just gonna use the PC to play Papers, Please and FTL.

There is some good news on the Gothic II front. I fired up my 4 year old Windows 7 laptop and installed it on there. It works with no tweeking whatsoever.

thats how it always works. you dont start thinking about playing certain games till the system of choice is gone. had that same issue when my 360 went last year.

Geez man, sucks that the PS3 is busted. That hurts. The positive is at least you have the 360 working until you can get another replacement...or a PS4.

I'd go PS4 if it was BC with PS3 games but since it isn't I either need to get this repaired or buy a new PS3. I have way to much content unplayed to abandon the PS3 yet.
