Now that I have your attention, you may refrain from commenting about how little you care about commenting on whatever topic you keep commenting on by stating how little you care about it and read this very important public service announcement:
"Its" is a possessive pronoun.
Example:
I hate this game. Its gameplay sucks.
"It's" is a contraction of the phrase "it is."
Example:
I hate this game. It's really shitty.
Spread the word to bloggers and social media users everywhere. Mistaking "it's" for "its" is wordist and should be unacceptable in 2014. Don't give me that "but they look so alike to me" crap. You know how many "its" end up in prison for crimes committed by "it's" just cause you can't tell the fucking difference? None! They're words. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't be jailed for using them improperly as a fully functioning adult.
To get the message out about this highly important issue, upload a picture of you naked and dumping ice on yourself, along with the hashtag #ItsGate2014, to the iCloud. If possible, try to be cheating on your significant other by having sex with Adam Baldwin in the picture as well.
Let people know it's not ok to use the word "its" in the sentence "It's not ok."
