Well its Official Xcom is now my all time Favorite game!!

Both Xcoms have become my all time favorite game

So even as much as I love Tactics Ogre & Final Fantasy Tactics this game is just more then anything game wise I could want The Strategy the upgrades the awesome personel connection with your soldiers, theres just nothing like the feel of getting my sniper to full upgrade and making sure to protect her since she has 30 missions and 130 kills very few missed shots and in mission 31 I lost her the feeling I got was one of being mad then sad and missions 32 and 33 just didnt feel the same without her.

This is the kind of emotional attachment to your troops you get after going through 30 something missions and even now I dont think there will be a better sniper as good as she was but this is what makes this game so special I never get board with it, and the Tactical gameplay is just so good and addicting, and is by far the bet Turn Based strategy game that I have ever pkayed and that says alot seeing that I have played just about every srpg and Tactical TB game ever made on just about every system.

Customizing you soldiers is part of your own personel touch

Im honestly not trying to sell this game im being totally honest the game has even topped Final Fantasy Tactics and for me this is huge, I would almost say im obsessed with Xcom I mean I own Xcom Enemy within on my 360 then on my PS3 I own Enemy Unknown and Xcom : The Bureau and I even bought Xcom Enemy Unknown on googe play for $10.61 with tax.

Yes I even own it on Android so whem im out and about

So I would say its safe to say im a expert on Xcom especially since I took 2nd in a online word tourney which I wan a $ 150 gift card, so I guess im pretty good at it and the Tourney was Iron man with second Phase on.

Congrats on the tournament! That's pretty cool. I have almost bought the main game so many times on Steam... but you've convinced me to go for it during the next sale.

It really is a awesome game I have spent more time with this game then any game I own and every game is new and exciting, I recommend easy to start and once you get good try iron man deaths permanent and it makes you put thought into your strategy theres nothing sadder then loosing a level 30 sniper thats been your ace in the hole the whole game.

I kinda questioned whether or not to get the android version but after getting it it plays very well on android they have Enemy Within on the apple store now if they would just get it on android.

Nothing in the genre will ever top the original X-Com and Jagged Alliance 2, but I think people should suppor this game to prove the genre doesn't deserve to be a relic. And the Long War mod makes it as hardcore as you want it.

Just because this is my new fav dont mean that the originals are fogotten there still the best, I spent half of my teenager years playing defense force and jagged alliance oh and flights unlimited thoughs days will always be the best in my book.

Yea. I watched some video of it and I immediately thought of Advance Wars. It does a lot of the same things visually. I'm thinking it's the inspiration for Advance Wars.

I liked that idea of pesonalized troops back when I first experianced it back in Valkyra Chronicles on the PS3. Perhaps one day I'll try this game. that is after I try out "The Buearu"

The personal attachment you get with your soldiers are very close in this game and when playing iron man which is just once your troop dies hes gone for good no restart its really good and worth your time.
