Or at least that's what the Los Angeles Times Magazine called it. Anybody know what I'm talking about? That's right! The Sandman! As in, the comic series by Neil Gaiman. I've read only the first volume so far and it is pretty much what everybody said. It was interesting and sets a great foundation for the series but wasn't particularly amazing. I tell you what, though, I have no idea where this is going to go and since it's about the King of Dreams, I guess it can go anywhere. And I'm really looking forward to it too! Now to start the second volume...

So turns out we missed the 3DS Smash Bros demo because we weren't opted in for marketing emails, even though we're Platinum Club Nintemdo members. That's just dumb Frown I'm more excited about the Wii U version anyway. They keep saying Winter 2014 but I wouldn't be surprised at all if it gets pushed back to March or something.

In other news the new Humble Bundle is really good. It has SteamWorld Dig, which was the deciding factor for me. I wanted to get that on 3DS but man, you just can't beat the price when it's on the Humble Bundle. Now just need to play it lol.

Uh oh, time for Dr. Who. Gotta go!

I gotta read Sandman. Right now is the perfect time for something like that. Now what responsibilities can I pawn off to others so that I can read it?

That's the ticket! Offload, er, I mean delegate your responsibilities to others to free yourself up for more important things. That's what responsible adults do, right?

dat series is da shit.

I love Sandman.  The first trade is ok, but it really starts going after a while.  There's nothing else like it, and I really prefer it to his novels.

I've already picked up the next couple trades from the library. I haven't even been able to finish the introduction on the second volume yet, though, because I keep getting interrupted. Dang it, life, leave me alone! Yell

Damn... I still haven't read Sandman... I feel kind of ashamed by that fact. I seriously need to pick it up.

I would suggest checking your local library. That's where I'm getting them from.

i borrowed all the Sandman trades from a friend of mine who is really into it. I liked the series but didn't love it. I'm reading Watchmen now and really digging it.

Watchmen is really good! I'm only on the second volume of Sandman, so I certainly don't have a definitive opinion yet lol

I've remember seeing Sandman in a local comic store close to where I live, so I may get it one of these days. Hopefully i'll have a great time with it like American Gods.

That Bundle looks sweet. I may go for the tire below 10.

I have a lot of Sandman left (in the second volume right now) but so far so good! And I opted for the Bundle over the average but under $10 too. Lot of good stuff in there!

I didn't get into Sandman till my teens and it was a friend who reminded me of the copies I had owed.

I got my number 1 signed by Neal and Dave Mckean (cover artist), haven't met Sam Kieth yet but one day.

Have you read the new Sandman yet or are you waiting on  the trades? It's quite stupendous.

I'd love to meet Neil Gaiman. I've heard he's a really nice guy Smile And I didn't know there was any new Sandman. Is it the same team or new people doing it?

J H Williams of Promethea and Batwoman is doing interiors but Neil and Dave are back.

It's a mini made of six issues, 3 are already out but it's coming out slowly because of the detail

I need to watch the lastest episode of Doctor Who too.  It's taking a bit, but the new episodes are growing on me.  A couple nights ago, my wife & I started watching old episodes of The Doctor and Donna on dvd.  Great stuff.

Donna Noble! What a great character. The first couple episodes of this season were a tad iffy I thought, though I know they were sort of "growing" episodes for the new Doctor. That's fine. Last week and this week were very good.

The new episodes kind of feel like the old Doctor shows.

Still haven't read Sandman. Though I think I read up on how the Devil plays into all of it. Or I could be wrong and that's a completely different comic.

No code for me. I can wait till the demo is avaiable to all. I just restarted my nintendo account after forgetting to carry it over when they did the switch.

Doctor Who?!?! No Don't! Save yourself! after Robots I can't imagine what they have in store!?!1 Flee! Save thyself!!!!

So far the devil has been in only one story, though I can imagine him playing a big role as this goes forward. We'll see. And don't try to pull me out of Doctor Who. It's too late, man! They've got me!
