My one friend keeps bugging me to play Destiny but it still looks too much like a multiplayer frag fest for me and that was my least favorite part of the Halo series. My other friend wants me to play Borderlands the Presequel and I am very excited about that.
My time with Destiny

Am I destined to just spend as little time as possible with Destiny?
I think the stalwart fucking answer is yeah.
After a crazy combination of me failing to play more than 20 minutes and 2 multiplayer slayer matches I haven't dented Destiny.
Yeah it was way overhyped. Stuff is borrowed from other stuff. As ambigous as I can get is the way I like it. Seriously! There's just a lot of borrowed elements from all sorts of different games. A lot of the core gameplay in single player seems Call of Dutified. Is there nothing those Activision bastards will not touch?
I am really hoping to delve further into Destiny.
We have had a lot of setbacks here at the homestead. We had a big beautiful 32 inch TV. And my bro was like game over TV and bought me out of my share. He went on with his life and I got cash.
Yet we both felt robbed. Robbed because the fact was the TV was horrible on input lag. Not horrible but dissmal. So now I saw Destiny being played by my bro on an even pretier 30 inch Acer. I am totally guessing with the dimensions. What I am not guessing with is that Destiny is really fun and like the only game people have interest with.
Seriously, every other article out there in the gaming world is about Destiny's flaws and fun being had. Crazy I know.
With that I am really, really, really, hoping the single player doesn't bored me out of my gord. Because with the two maps I played they're super large. What the hell Destiny make some CQC shit. Learn from Halo 1! Please!
