What was the hardest game for you to find not online and what did you do to get it and how far did you go to get it??

Mine was Cross Edge it cost me 10 of my Xbox 360 games to get but considering how rare it is I would do it again, and I drove 25 miles on my 30 minute lunch break to get it lol!! The things we do for that hard to get game.Tongue Out

Mine was probably Culdcept on PS2. I went to a Gamestop way out of my usual haunting ground to get it. It was still new too and I had to pay extra. It wasn't expensive though, only $20, but, at the time, I was getting three games for that price on GS's buy-two-get-one-free sales.

Yea, I have Culdcept Saga and love it. My friend Mark plays it too. He got close to beating it in single player, I didn't. Darn game is hard.

The hardest I've ever done for a game was wait for the price drop.  Can't say I spent a lot of money on a game or traveled a great distance.  I've had games I want that were at GS far away, but I just talk to my friends that are GS store managers and they have the games shipped to their stores.  I don't have to do the traveling.

Persona 3 FES was hard for me to find at any store. I believe it was rare. I had to go out of my way to find it, and I did it during a lunch break at work as well several years ago.

Shin Megami Tensei and Rune Factory 4, because they aren't released in Australia. Would try to import them or something but Nintendo are cunts and region locked the 3DS.

Anyway, pretty much any game over a year old is difficult to track down in game stores. It's actually kind of disgusting, and a nother major reason I love PC so much. Games of all age are welcome at that party.

I'm actually trying to track down copies of the Castlevania DS games at the moment, and it's proving a frustrating endeavor.

Last years game hunt for Calling for the Nintendo Wii.

Drove over an hour and a half to find the game at a decent price. has no book but case and game were in fine condition. No way I'd spend $40+ for it though. $20 was about right. Best Octoberween title buy by far!

I could've picked that up years ago for a fair price. Oh well, at least I still have my Dreamcast version.

Hmm, I think it was either Ehrgeiz or Einhander. I can't remember how I found Ehrgeiz but I did like the fighting in it when I played it. I must have found it at a thrift store. As for Einhander it was years ago when I think it was still an EB, I was buying a bunch of Playstation 1 games, and the employee showed me the games someone traded in and that was in the lot. I thought it was a little steep for $30 but I bought it anyways.
