Agree or not these are as close to a flight sim as you will get on the ps3 the only two other titles that will make this list is  Birds of Steel the follow up to Il 2 Sturmovik and Over G on the 360.

 

So these are the best ones on consoles and im not talking arcade so in my favorite on the list in order would be.

1.IL 2 Sturmovik

2. Birds of Steel

3. Air Conflicts : Pacific Carriers

4. Tom Clanseys Hawx 2

5.Over G

Now as far as sims are concerned the most realistic and customized game is Over G its got everything ans is as close as you can get to a sim, you may be wondering why Ace Combat is not on the list its very arcade therefore its not a sim so what makes it a sim vrs arcade well in my opinion a sim has landings and take offs it gives you a cockpit veiw it has functioning landing gears and flaps vrs a arcade where you are in the sky at the start you dont have to land etc.

Now Ace Combat Infinity is in a league of its own its a flight mmo which cant be defined as a flight sim but it is amazing

 

 

Im not to big on MMOs but this game does have a ton of options and if you want to know more ask Nsonic here on pixlbit he plays it alot.

Now Over G is a early 360 title thats exclusive to the 360 a very underrated and mislead title its actually a very good flight sim the reason it got very little attention was the graphics are bland but the realism of this sim is astounding. 

   

So as you can see with these pics the graphics are not the best but the depth and realism make up for this.
