my brother got Mordor. THat reminds me I need to text him and ask him what he thought of it! I'm probably not gonna get it. I'm mostly excited for Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Hello Pixlbit! Lately I've just been playing a ton of Destiny. Doing a lot of bounties for the Vanguard and the Queen. Currently I'm level 26 with my Warlock and I've been stuck at that level for a while. I started a Hunter class and have her at level 23. A few days ago I started a Titan class because I didn't have anything else to do. When I take a break from Destiny, I start to play some Diablo 3. Going through different classes in that game has been passing time by.
Last week I bought Disney Infinity 2.0. I wasn't planning on buying it until the holidays but my impatience got the best of me. So far it's pretty fun, but if you're thinking about buying it I would advise to wait until there's a sale. I'll admit, I should've waited because the following week (currently this week) was the release of Forza Horizon 2 and Shadow of Mordor. I bought the Guardians of the Galaxy playset for DI and if you include the playset with the starter playset, I could've bought both Forza and Shadow of Mordor. Overall. DI isn't a bad game, but its a game that you can definitely wait for. Especially when you will dish out so much money.
I pre-ordered SoM digitally and had it pre-loaded last night and played about an hour of it. So far it's pretty good. When they first announced this game at E3 I thought it would be some Assassin's Creed/Batman knock-off game and would last only 12-15 hours of gameplay. The more videos of this game I watched, the more interested I became. Soon enough I found out that the game is around 40 hours to complete! That's pretty crazy for that kind of game.
SoM has elements of AC and Batman, but doesn't bring too much of it to its table. Yeah those are it's main influences but the gameplay, environment and LotR lore works with it. One major feature that got me interested in this game is the fact that the main character is played by Troy Baker! For those of you who don't know who he is, he played as The Joker in Batman Arkham Asylum and City, Joel in The Last of Us, Delsin Rowe in Infamous Second Son and other well known games.
I plan to get Forza Horizon 2 hopefully next week. I only had enough money in my Xbox Live wallet to buy one game. Either SoM or Forza. I chose SoM because it was a different game that had action/adventure and its related to LotR. Yeah, I would've gotten Forza as well but it's just another racer to me. I like racing games but the fact that Xbox had three editions of this game kind of upset me. These editions are the Day One, Deluxe and Ultimate. They all differ from the VIP pass, season pass and other car packs. If I want to spend $60 on a racing game, I expect to get everything. I don't really like season passes but I only get them for games like CoD because usually all my friends get them and if someone doesn't have the pass, it denies them to play with their friends on some maps because you don't have the pass. Same with Destiny.
Anyways, I think I might wait for an edition of Forza Horizon 2 with all the DLC because next week there's going to be one for Forza 5. Also for Ryse and Dead Rising 3. I'll probably wait for those to hit $20 maybe $30 max.
Let me know what games you guys and gals are looking forward to for the remaining of this year. Happy gaming!
