In my continued quest to bring you the best in different chips or crisps if you come from the other side of the pond this weeks flavour is Haggis and Cracked Black Pepper. Yes folks, haggis! To quote Grounds Keeper Willy "Chopped heart and lungs boiled in a wee sheep's stomach Tastes as good as it sounds".

Do these chips taste like haggis? How the fuck should I know? I ate haggis once for breakfast in a scuzzy London pub, washed down with several pints of Bass. No haggis connoisseur I.

Are they edible? Yes, they taste quite good but I can't really describe them to you. Found this particular bag in a British store down the road.

Here's a pic.

Haggis chips?!?!  Never had haggis myself.  Saw a show on it once though.  They eat some fucked up food over there (says a lover of hot dogs).  Tongue Out

Aww, I was expecting an eww. LOL

I love black pudding which is blood sausage. I grew up eating organ meats so nothing really grosses me out. Not sure I'd eat bugs though.

I had chicken-fried bacon at the fair yesterday. It was pretty damn amazing.

I did a bike tour of Scotland when I was 17. I had lots of fish 'n chips and hard cider but no Haggis. I'd give it a try if I ever go back. Don't think I've ever seen Haggis anywhere here in Pennsylvania. Got some German specialties though like Liverwurst. You can thank the Pennsylvania Dutch for that.

Ick. You can keep them. The other flavor of crisps that I have no desire to eat is prawn.

I've had one kind of prawn crisps and as near as I can remember they didn't taste like prawns at all.

I'd like to try haggis one day odly enough.

Haggis chips? Yeah I'd try it. Heck I'd try Haggis too just to see what the fuss is all about.

I don't know why but I'd want to try this. Wish I was still traveling.
