Beat Operation Raccoon City

it was a pretty standard 3rd person shooter, with a few nods to certain events in the series, I suppose. The only other RE games I've played are RE 2 and RE 5, and I've never made it more than a few steps in RE 2...I can't seem to wrap my head around the controls, and it doesn't translate well to my PSP.

The ending in ORC was pretty anti-climactic; however, I may go back and replay it a few times in the future, in an attempt to mop up a few trophies. All in all I had a good time with the game, and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a decent 3rd person shooter.

I ended up buying Pier Solar yesterday, so I'll probably move on to that game....or maybe Catherine. Or maybe Resident Evil 4 HD.

yeah those tank controls of those old RE's just haven't aged well. Funny we didn't really notice at the time!

I want to get Pier Solar. I'm in no hurry to get it since it's digital. Even if I bought it, there's no telling when I'll actually play it.

Catherine is a pretty cool game. I only played through it once though. One of these days I'll play through it again.

The controls for both the original RE and Silent Hill are hideous. I really want to play them both, and have tried them both, but the controls just made me mad.

They made me mad in the RE games I've played so far, but I'm starting RE4 and I'm forcing myself to get used to them. I really want to see this whole game.

Yeah, Resident Evil 4 HD has pretty solid controls from what I've played. I'd probably suck at the older control schemes as well.

I just got Resident Evil 4 HD on Xbox Live. It looks fantastic!

Congrats! I think I own this game but it still hasn't found its way into the PS3. Curse you Mount Backlog!

it's a fairly short game with a good deal of replay value. I believe it's only 7 missions long

I've been meaning to play that game eventually. I just wished it could've been so much more. The events during the Raccoon City outbreak are ripe for indepth story, like what was done in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. but instead we got ORC. I'm just sure I'm ready for the dissapointment after enjoying all I did with RE's 1, 2 and 3.

Go for RE4 HD. make an Octoberween out of it!

If you go into OpRaccCity just expecting a 3rd Person Shooter, you'll have a good time. I haven't been as much of a fan of the series as others, so I got more out of it I think.

I'm looking to change that, though....for me, the RE games have always been intimidating.
