What mischief has The Mothman been up to this weekend?

Well I bought a lot of digital stuff from Humble, GOG and Steam so here ya go:

Humble Mobile Bundle 9 for the sole purpose of seeing how Syberia translates to the touch interface and as expected the answer is very well. Even though this is a game I own on PC and Xbox and have completed it I just had to do it. Hey it only cost me a $4.00 donation

Here's the rest of it:

Humble stuff

I also bought three games from GOG for the privilege of buying 3 random games at 2 bucks a piece. In retrospect dumb idea. I should have just gone with Indigo Prophecy, Wizardry 8 and Shadowrun Returns and saved 6 bucks on games I don't have a clue about and will probably never play.

GOG purchases

My big purchase of the weekend was Pier Solar from Steam. I've got some grindin' t'do.

Today I spent the entire day on my Android Tablet. I played some Syberia, read two chapters of Curse of Chalion then read another one of my Shadowman comics while listening to Massive Attack.

Yesterday we had a prime rib dinner with yorkshire puddings. Today we had spiral ham with fried potatoes and onions and mushy peas. Other than me forgetting to buy a nice Cabernet to go with the roast it's been a nice weekend.

Pixlbitallion whatcha been up to?

I've been house cleaning in small spurts, working on resurrecting my resume, playing a lot of Sleeping Dogs, and trying to watch Season 9 of Supernatural on Netflix so I can catch up with Season 10 on Hulu Plus. Also been watching Season 5 of The Shield, Season 2 of The Walking Dead, and just started watching Space: Above and Beyond again.

Also took the dog for a couple of lovely long rambles in the woods in the lovely fall weather.

I'm really sorry I lost track of Supernatural. It's probably way to late to catch up now but I used to watch it religiously.

The weather has been nice and watching the trees turn is cool but since Fall is the gateway into the death which is Winter I'm not a fan.

Well, the first nine seasons are on Netflix, so you can chip away. I was seven seasons behind and now I'm almost caught up.

I like Winter. I like snow. I have an all-wheel drive Subaru and winter tires. No worries. And you're about to smack me upside the head now, aren't you?

Hold out yer face and smile nice. LOL

No, I am not the dictator of seasons, it is merely my preference to hate cold, snowstorms and the general misery that the months between November and March bring to me.

I will Rodney. I've played a little bit so far and it's good but it's difficult to know how to get to things. There are dark patches with paths that are missable which can cause frustration. I will need more time to formulate a worthwhile opinion.

Nice. I haven't heard of the games you mentioned outside of the three you knew about either haha.

As for me, I've been playing Archeage, which is a tremendous amount of fun, and he best mmo in recent memories. Also, Alien Isolation, which is legitimately terrifying.

So Alien is a worth while buy then I want to get it but it has to be a pretty long game for me to sink that kind of cash on it.

I'm not super far in, but the atmosphere is really well done. It is creepy and suspenseful. I heard the game is around 15 hours too.

I've never been that big on wine. I like a few kinds, but I usually prefer either water or mixed drinks depending on the situation. But those dinners sound delicious.

I've been chilling and doing stats homework. I keep telling myself I'll get back on the diet and exercise plan, but ... we'll see.

They were delicious Joe. We don't buy prime rib unless it's on sale because it costs more than gold these days. Thankfully the one we bought was about the best we've had in a really long time and there was lots leftover.

watched football all day like a good American.  My Eagles trashed the NYC Giants tonight. Thank God.  My parents brought their new motorhome home and my dad and bro worked on it all weekend trying to fix some stuff.  Hope you enjoyed your thanksgiving!

That was probably the most one sided game I've seen in a while. Eagles played perfect football.

yeah it was pretty pathetic. But as an Eagles fan who has endured many beatings by the Giants, I loved it. Tongue Out

My buddy and I were going crazy yelling at the screen for the Eagles to not let them score at the end of the game, even though it was meaningless. We wanted to see that "0" on the scoreboard. Bye bye Eli!

I had to work nights this weekend.  While at work, I spent a lot of time playing Devil Survivor: Overclocked (3DS).  I finished the main story Sunday morning and now I just have the extra content to play through.

I love that game. I wound up buying the digital version for $15 when it was on sale

Syndicate i've heard is a cult classic PC game. Atleast the first, since that's the sequel.

Since I don't drink wine isn't my thing but damn I do love a good piece of Prime Rib! I bought the Humble Bundle just because of that Syberia game. The trailer looked so good especially for an Android game, it was worth the $4 I paid too. I really liked Indigo Prophecy, such an interesting game. I wish I would have finished it

I need to try that Syberia game soon, along with the rest of the adveture game offerings on the original Xbox. I don't see them in my local used retro stores much right now so I better get to it.

Damn good eats. Wish I could feed like that during Octoberween.
