Yesterday we touched on Video Game Myths so why don’t we visit the opposite side of the coin and talk about Video Game Urban Legends. In part two of this second installment of Octoberween Video Weekend, we’ll take a look at another aspect of the supernatural when it comes to games with Video Game Urban Legends. Much like contemporary urban legends, video games have their fair share of urban legends that border on the mundane to the surreal. Once again some of them you might know and while others could be a surprise to you. In this posting we’ll be showing the Top 10 Video Game Urban Legends courtesy of watchmojo.com. I have to admit that this video was an eye opener for me. I didn’t even know half of these urban legends and the ones I was aware of I have to call into question. In one particular pick I just don’t remember seeing some of the imagery involved during my playthrough. There are even some I just don’t believe. Either way it was an entertaining video so I thought I’d share. So turn down the lights and crack up your volume and enjoy?

Once again, Majora's Mask is probably the creepiest damn game never billed as a horror title ...
I like the Game Theory guys. It was trippy to see one of them dance-humping a girl (maybe his girlfriend, no idea) at the DJ Cutman rave at SGC 2013. lol
All these ears it never dawned on me that Majora's Mask could be that creepy. I just got stuck during the opening intro and never bothered with the time mechanics. I'll need to give this game a second chance.
I wonder if it was his wife. I heard in one of his over videos about speaking from experiance that you don't involve another woman (his mario is mental video) when it comes to certain things.
It wasn't the guy doing the voiceovers, someone else on the team who I always see at SGC with a backwards hat on.
then your guess is as good as mine.still they must be a riot to be with at a party given their work. I wonder if they'll be there at the next SGC since I found this video series on the Escapist.
Pretty sure they're regulars at SGC and may even live in Dallas like the screwattack.com crew who puts the con on. I've only been 2013 and this year though. They were there both times.

I remember hearing about that theory on the Spoony Experiment when The Spoony One was doing his review of that game. He even want as afar as commenting on it in a written post video blog. He mostly just recongized it but figured itw as indeed just a myth saying that square wasn't that smart to write that kind of hidden narrative in a game that he considers to be garbage.
I don't know which is creepier, Sonic killing Tales or the haunted Majora's Mask. Thanks a lot. I'm going to have nightmares tonight.
