Surprises Galore!

The best part of it is that most of 'em are good!!

I know I may have stated previously that I was going to get the new Smash Bros. "after the initial rush", but I actually managed to snag two copies of the game (picked up one for my bro who wasn't feeling well at the time) rather quickly. I spent a lot of time practicing and while I'm still not very good against non-CPU opponents, I'm still up for a challenge if anyone's interested.

Secondly, I mentioned in a past blog how I might have possibly broken the battery pack I was using to be able to play my 3DS for extended periods of time. Well it turns out that with a lot of patience and a little luck, it finally started holding a charge again. I don't know exactly how, but I'm not going to question something that's turned in my favor, that's for sure.

Last, but certainly not least, Mega Pidgeot!!!

Yes!!

Pidgeot's one of my favorite pokemon, so it's nice to see it get a mega evolution.

I'm going back and forth on buying it. if I had an XL I would. But with only an original 3DS I kind of am not feeling it.

Yeah, sometimes I find myself having to squint a little to be able to tell where I am in a particularly frantic match. Really wish I had an XL at those times.

Pidgeot, eh? I was never that into the original bird Pokemon. Too similar to actual birds. That's cool it got a mega evolution though. Even though I have no idea what that means. lol

Nice score and congrats in getting your battery to work again. Hope it stays going for a while longer still.
