My Weekend Isn't Over Yet Folks.

I've been playing a few things on PC lately and there are a couple I haven't talked about yet.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing:. I bought it for a fiver a week or so ago and it's really fun. I haven't gone too far yet but I'm enjoying it and it looks decent too. I was surprised to find that it works with my 360 gamepad although I wasn't having any problems with the mouse/keyboard combination anyway.

Resident Evil Revelations HD: I have the original on 3DS and a copy from PSN but since my PS3 is still out of commission I've been playing the PC version. It's fun but I really suck at aiming in panic situations and end up wasting ammo. The enemies should really stand still for me while I aim for their heads. That would be the polite thing to do.

Pier Solar: I actually got into it for a couple of hours today. I like it but dungeons are really hard to navigate. In the first dungeon there are very dark areas and sometimes it's hard to see whether you can continue on or there's a dead end waiting for you. A lot of the time I'm getting to where I'm supposed to be by trial and error. I've got the brightness turned up full on my laptop. The random battles just keep on coming and what's with the ambush after ambush thing. Hopefully I will eventually find an accessory that takes care of that.  I'm at the second dungeon in the mandatory desert area right now.

Finally, there is a possibility that my PS3 will be back next week. I was told on Friday that it had finally passed all the tests and they would call me in the afternoon to pick it up once they had it back together. They didn't call. :(. I'll be calling tomorrow to find out what's up.

Yeah, I waste ammo in Resident Evil 4. I should watch that Van Helsing movie from a while ago.

yeah I love bonus Mothman!

I'm where u are in Pier Solar.  The dungeons can be annoying in determining where you can and cannot go.

Desert area, exploring the canyon (chasing the animal head guy). gave up on my first try and limped back to town for rest and to purchase more shit.

I didn't have problems there... I over supply myself.  I'm at the part after that now.

I found it easier to navigate the canyon than that forest though.

I've got my fingers crossed. I'll be calling in a couple of hours once the rest of London gets out of bed.

Wow there seems to be a lot of people playing Pier Solar. It doesn't look like my type of game but I'm glad you guys are enjoying it.

Hopefully soon your PS3 is returned to you.

They told me yesterday that it would be ready for me today but I'm not picking it up until Friday which is pay day.

I know you aren't an RPG guy so Pier Solar likely would not appeal to you.

I'm still debating if I should get RE: Revelations either on 3DS or PS3. I can't seem to find it on PS3 as a disc based game yet I'm nto sure if I hsould get the 3DS version without the dual stick peripheral.

I found the controls on 3DS to work quite well without the attachment but after playing on the bigger screen with dual analogs I'd go with that.

It's easy to find that disc based version were I live. I see it all over the place foe 20 bucks.
