Google Nexus 9 Announcement

Here is the article

I'm a fan of the Nexus 7 inch tablet because of the size of the tablet along with getting a lot of bang for your buck. With this new tablet announcement, it looks like I won't be upgrading because it is a bigger tablet. I already have an iPad Air which is already the "big tablet" in my setup and this new offering feels like another tablet that is trying to compete with something I already have. If Google were to offer the same specs of the Nexus 9 in a new Nexus 7 I would be all over it, but since it is so close to the iPad in terms of size, it would be pointless for me to upgrade.

If you folks are looking for a solid Android tablet check out the Google Nexus. As someone who bought the first and second generation N7's, they are worth the money especially with all the features they offer. The only drawback people seem to complain about is the lack of expandable storage. It really isn't a problem because I've been running with 32GB and that is a lot of space. I have quite a few games, books, apps, and other goodies and still have 7GB free. I also use services like Dropbox, and Box which are great online storage services.

Alright Pixlbit have a good Wednesday....HUUUUUMMMPPPP DAY!

That's all for now, more later!

It seems like a nice Tablet but I'd still like to be able to add storage if I wanted to so I probably wouldn't buy one. My Acer is 16 GB with a 16 GB SD in it and I've got about 3 GB free after cleaning up a bit.

That's the one thing with the Nexus7, the majority of users wanted expandable storage when the first one was released, you would think they would have added it to the next version. I have lots of space but I get why folks need/want the extra room especially now that the MicroSD cards are getting cheaper.

I'm not really in the market for a tablet ... a phablet on the other hand ..

Awe PH yea. A Phablet. That's what I want. I knew I wanted a big phone or a tablet. Now I can have both. Thanks SuperStep!

Well, technically you'd just have the big phone, since "phablet" is just a word people use to refer to large screen phones like the Samsung Galaxy S5 and iPhone 6+ as. lol

I keep saying I want a giant phone (I like to call them Big Ass Phones), but I don't know if the novelty will wear off for me...or if my friends will decide they want to try and bend it. We shall see when the iPhone 6s+ is released.

Weel, buy a not iPhone 6 and it won't bend. lol But yeah, I'd want something that fits in my pockets.

Nice.  I have the original Nexus 7 and I bought my wife the 2nd Gen.  I'd think about this one, but I now have a big ass Wacom Cintiq Companion, which I mainly use for drawing, but it does pretty much anything a tablet would anyway.

Wacom tablets are nice! I thought about getting one of the newer ones but I don't draw enough to get full use out of them. I do have an older smaller Wacom that I use here and there.
