October Update

I apologize that I havent been on to be able to read yalls blogs like normal. Things have been severally crazy. I have had to work crazy shifts and suffer lack of sleep and sickness. I wouldnt a been a nice person and the last thing I want is to come on here and treat people I care about and take as a family like shit. All I have been doing? Watching youtube vids and laying around in my spare time. Ive been gaming very lil mostly on my 3DS when I do. The good thing is, Im finally 100% better, have actually got to sleep, and work is normal again. Even though Ive been sick I did pick up a few games.

1. Trap Team/Skylanders

I have been into skylanders since the first series launched and Im still enjoying it. Trap Team has yet again brought forth a new way to keep the game interesting and keep it fresh. I also like a lot of the new skylanders in this series.

Trap Masters-The new main skylander group introduced for this series.

Baby Skylanders- Baby verisons of some of the normal and giant skylanders

Traps-Used to catch the villians in game so they can be played. Id also like to note that you technically only need one trap of each element to catch and play the villains. You dont have to buy a trap for every single one unless you want to.

2.Smash Bros

I am enjoying the new smash bros on 3DS. However I dont think Im having the issues that some others are having with playing the game on a handheld. The 2DS seems to a better fit for playing the fighting game or im weird and just dont find it off or hard to play. Im still getting the Wii U verison of course. Console verison is the one Ive looked forward to the most.

3.Animal Crossing

I had to re buy AC and so I did so during the Smash Sale since it was on sale for 19.99. Im still in love it though, its charm has a lasting impact. Im even enjoying rebuilding the town again.

4.Samurai Warriors 4

Samurai Warriors 4 isnt out yet technically but I have it preordered and paid off so all I have to do is pick it up. Im really excited to play the newest in the SW series. SW 3 was a Wii only exclusive and I do recommend it. It was a good game for the Wii.

I'm playing Skylanders Trap Team right now, working on a review of it for GamerDad.com. Sure the gameplay isn't very original and it's a bit gimmicky, but gosh darn it, if we were kdis right now, Skylanders would be the shit. I think it's a great kids franchise.

I'm playing Smash Bros. on 3DS as well, but not as much as I would like what with all the other games I'm reviewing and all.

I don't play Animal Crossing: New Leaf anymore, but I did play it every day for a full year and it was my Game of the Year last year.

I bet you have quiet a deal to review right now. Are you getting the new Natsume Harvest Moon game? I have the collectors edition preordered for the bunny! There also shipping out the store orders starting tomorrow. They wanna make sure they get as many as possiable in customers hands for th 4th.

No, the screens are the same size as the original 3DS. I however like how they did the 2DS frame wise. I know alot of people gave it shit on announcement but its more comfortable to hold and it was more comfy to play smash with especially.

Snee I swear I replied to yours yesterday since I had some free time? damn guess it didnt send. Well right now my current getting list is

Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, Dragon Age 3, Harvest Moon:TLV, Fantasy Life, and Im shooting to get Guilty Gear Xrd in Dec. Next year The Order and Witcher 3 will start out my year in Feb with Story Of Seasons along side them. I think their is a game in jan I want but I cant think of it off the top of my head. What you getting?

The one thing I like about the 2DS is that it is one solid piece. Last night while lying down it felt awkward trying to hold the top screen of the 3DS while trying to push the buttons. The 2DS might be the one to solve my problems.

Everytime I see Skylanders I want to give it a try but I don't want to constantly buy the figures...but I want to get the most out of the game. It might be good that I just avoid the game for a bit...or jump on it where there is a big sale on figures.

I find it alot more comfy to hold and game, they did a really good job with the system. Im happy with my buy with it. Im still gonna get a New 3ds XL down the road once they release here. I already know they will prolly launch some exclusive games on it that Ill want so might as already buy it and get it over with. I will be keeping my 2ds thou.

The good thing about trap team, is you only need one of each element. Unlike with Swap you have to have one of every element and swap ability type. They offer to trap masters for every element and ive been collecting 1 while my bf has been getting the other of the element. You also only need one trap of each element too. You just will have to swap out the villians when you in the main hub all the time but it can be done for the sake of saving money.
