I've been having a blast with the new Smash Bros. game, but a few odd things have happened along the way. So it's time for another installment of Game Oddities!

- My brother and I were playing a Stock match as we usually do, at this particular go-round I was playing as Robin from Fire Emblem and he was playing as Zero Suit Samus. He managed to snag the Smash Ball and started the animation for ZSSs' final smash when I got a shot in and somehow stopped it. However the game's camera still was zoomed in on ZSS as if the final smash was still going, which was bad news for me since I couldn't tell where I was and subsequently scored a self-destruct when I fell off the edge of the stage we were playing in.

- I was playing Classic mode and made it up to a fight with Metal Fox on the Corneria stage. Things were going just fine until the computer landed the wrong way near the end of the Great Fox and fell through the stage! A victory's a victory, but I'm a little worried that it could've just as easily been me.

Anyone have any oddities of their own to share?

I have a feeling that as polished as these new Smash games are, they were still probably rushed in the QC department, hoping they could rectify things via updates.  I haven't seen any bugs in the 3DS version yet, mainly because the screen is a bit small. But one time in Classic Mode I was about to fight Giant Mega Man and when the battle started, he just walked right off the stage and defeated himself.  Guess he wasn't in the mood that day.

Wow, haven't had that happen to me yet. Sometimes I wish it would though, because it just might be the only way I make it through Classic at 9.0 intensity,

The only one I've heard of was that apparently an online match that ended with one Falcon Punch.
