Because if there is, I haven't seen one.

There's a bunch of Clint Eastwood movies that are being played on TV in Britain at the mo and I've enjoyed all of them i've recenty watched Beguiled which is... uncomfortably good to say the least and I had a chat with my dad about some of his films and it got me thinking that I don't NOT like a clint Eastwood film, Highplains Drifter, Hang'em High and The Fist full of Dollas Trilogy being 3 of my favs (yes, I count the trilogy as 1).

If I ever get married I hope my wife likes westerns. Anyway.

To reiterate, is there a bad Clint Eastwood movie? (staring role mind).

I like Clint Eastwood movies too.  A couple months ago, I watched all five Dirty Harry movies and they were all great. Cool

Nope, I love Eastwood. The trilogy is Fist Full of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and of course The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Even though they are a trilogy you must says their names separately. I think it's  a law :P

In other news I don't like Westerns but those films transcend the genre. The Spaghetti Western was a whole different thing.

The Eiger Sanction and Where Eagles Dare both left a bit to be desired, but they weren't bad. I think my favorite is Hang 'Em High. It was the first Clint Eastwood movie I ever saw, I think I was four. We saw it at the Drive-In and I was *supposed* to be asleep by the time the movie started. Not so much, movie was half over, my grampa looks in the back seat, and I'm perched on the edge, little elbows resting on my knees, chin propped on my fists, eyes glued to the screen and not a peep out of me. For weeks after, it was all I could talk about.

I rewatched the first Dirty Harry movie recently. I was surprised because it's basically like a commercial for the NRA. (faux announcer voice) "The law's too easy on criminals and Dirty Harry is so mad, he's takin' justice into his own hands with a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world." The movie was super fun to watch though.

Ringo  and that baseball movie with Amy Adams were just ok, but not great in my opinion.

I don't know if those movies are really what you're asking about though. lol

I don't know if there is one. I do like some of the random flicks like Heartbreak Ridge, and Firefox, heck even the one where he's an old Secret Service guy was cool.

Depends, are you talking about actor Eastwood, director Eastwood or both as a whole? For director, maybe J. Edgar, though I found that more of an interesting, but VERY flawed film.

Eastwood is cool in my book though. His performance in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, my fav western so far, was legendary.

I love Eastwood, he is a great actor and he certainly hasnt lost his skill in age. If you get a chance watch Gran Torino. He directed, produced, and starred in it. I had my doubts when I started it but I wasndead wrong, it was a great movie.

Unforgiven.

It died at the box office.

It was even beat out by "The Posse" I'm told.
