Metroid 5.  That is all I want to hear about.  I mean it has been 12 years since Metroid 4.  I want a sequel.

Meaning Fusion, yeah? Technically, it's only been 4 years since the last Metroid, Other M. 

I don't care about timeline, I just think a new Metroid would be cool.

Fusion was Metroid 4.  I know that there have been plenty of Metroid games since, but they have all been between other games in the series.

Majora's Mask 3D, more than made up for a lack of Metroid in the Direct though. 

I know, I just don't really care that much about Metroid's timeline to be honest. Seems kind of all over the place and the stories have always been pretty sparse from what I've seen and played. I guess a new suit and enemy could be cool, but to me that seems possible without making the newest entry the next in the series chronologically. To each his own though. Would you want Metroid V to be on 3DS (maybe a 2.5D side view with 3D character models etc.) or Wii U?

I think as long as they acknowledge the time mechanic may need to be tweaked for handheld gaming, Majora's Mask 3D could be better than the original.

I don't know what to expect, but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be good regardless.

It was about what I expected. These games are coming up fast!  I'll have Captain Toad and Kirby and the Rainbow Curse in no time!

I'll probably hear all about it on IGN's Nintendo podcast that I listen to.
