Mario, I'm not

There's nothing quite like working on pipes for about six hours with your father and brother, only to realize at the very end that while we might have fixed one potential problem, we didn't fix what we intended to in the beginning.

And that just sums up how I spent my Thursday. Since then, we've been working on other plumbing related mishaps with varying degrees of success. I'm hoping it all gets resolved before something really bad happens.

Other than that, I've been trying out the For Glory mode of Smash Bros., with pretty dismal results. At least I didn't lose every match I played, just about 80% of them. Which is actually better than I expected, honestly.

Yeah, I'd probably get my butt kicked in Smash against human players too and I sure don't know plumbing as well as I probably should.

I wouldn't worry about trying to be like Mario.  Really the only game where he did any plumbing, he was actually more on pest control duty.

Yea, I don't think he ever fixed anything plumping related, or even carry a wrench ever. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, in Super Mario 3-D World, he and Luigi straightened out a pipe at the beginning, and I think they used wrenches then...

Ok, so these games are like their hobby time and during work hours they run a little business, Mario & Luigi's Plumbing Service.

Arg that sucks man.  I don't know the first thing about plumbing, but I do know I like having it.

Being someone who does plumbing for the school district daily I can see where it would make you not want to be mario but apperently I would make a good Mario but dont tell anybody I do enough in the district lol!!

Funny you should mention plumbing, my dish washer overflowed into my kitchen sink and then all over the floor the other day. Hope maintenace can fix that tomorrow. Ah the things we take for granted.

Heh. I did some plumbing for my grandmother on Saturday before I drove back to Maine. Bought her a hand-held showerhead for her birthday and included the installation as part of her gift. I can also replace drain traps, sweat copper pipe, replace pvc water lines, turn water on and off to the buildings in the park, replace gaskets and washers, and replace all the guts in a toilet tank. Oh, yeah, and replace faucets.

Good skills to have I bet.

Wow, that's impressive! Puts my meager skills to shame.

All on the job training for a State of Maine park ranger. Helps that a good friend and co-worker is a licensed plumber and doesn't mind teaching me how to do things.

I hear you there. I got my folks trying to suggest I repipe my home after we learned it was all done PVC and not metal wise. I wouldn't even know to begin!
