Well the one thing I can say is be prepared for alot of reading, although the story is great I found the reading to be very cumbersome after while, this is a game that has a awesome battle system and is extremely addicting when you actually get the chance to battle.

                      The Animae is gorgeous

The story literally took me 7 and half hours just to get to the actual game its huge so whats it all about?

Tears to Tiara II follows Hamilcar Barca, a young man eking his way through life indentured to the Divine Empire. But when the Empire burns an innocent girl at the stake, he unleashes a terrible secret-his unbridled rage and demonic might of the berserker. With his newfound strength, and the insistence of a goddess, Hamilcar shoulders the burden of freeing his people from the tyranny of a corrupt Empire. On his journey to free himself and his enslaved people, he will fight alongside powerful allies, beasts, and even the gods themselves. However, he must control the demon within first, lest he himself turns the world to ash.

Battles are far and between but when you do it's great

Tears to Tiara II features:

More than 15 main characters to get to know as the story unfolds in visual novel style. From a timid lad who hides an intense hatred within to a crude war goddess who's never seen the earth below, characters will meet, forge relationships and alliances, and get pushed to their limits in the quest to free themselves from the Divine Empire.

Strategic turn-based gameplay will challenge the most battle-hardened generals with its combat. Use your allies, and even giant creatures, to help turn the tide in battle.

Joint Attacks, Consecutive Strikes, and Boost Magic mechanics add extra depth to the strategy gameplay and make for more replayability.Original Japanese story and battle audio.

The amount of items and crafting is staggering

The game is awesome yes theres alot of reading and yes the story drags on but it is a great story and sometimes I find myself going back to previous battle feilds to raise experience for my troops when the reading gets long, but if you dont mind a long story and a lot I mean a lot of reading then you will really like this game.

When you said '7 and a half hours to get to the actual game,' that turned me off right there.

I miss the FF6 days. :)

Wait? You had to read through 7 hours of story before actual combat? Is that right?

hmmm, I don't know if I can handle the seven hours of reading, but the modern take on an SRPG does look really cool.

If you like good novels this is really good and can be heart filled at times but you can skip stories to but overall its really good and the turn based battles are done excellent.

Sounds really cool. Lots of reading and turn-based battles sounds like most of my teenage board gaming.

Sounds interesting enough, I'll add it to my list.

the ghame kinda sounds like a precursor to the story of "The Legend of Legendary Heroes" anime. Though not quite a demon, the main chracter in taht anime had the power to destroy the world with his hidden powers.

I'll still give it somet hought if I happen to stumble upon it.
