My friend reviewed those games for me at GamerDad.com.

With no knowledge of the games in the series, I randomly picked my favorite character from the second one to be Akane the 'ultimate gymnast' because she looked cool.

She was one of my favorite characters! I will say I liked the first games cast a little bit better but the second games cast was really good too.

I was wondering what these games were about. Thanks.

No prob! Lots of pink blood death and figuring out who done it! I still can't get over how pink the blood is...lol

"Phoenix Wright gone to the dark side" ... reminds me I need to play Phoenix Wright. lol

Haha! It's honestly how I felt the game was like since it has an investigation period, trial, but more death and despaire. Although no cops just a fun loving teddy bear haha.

I said before that I started with the anime before delving into the game. Even if I do want to play it for experiencing all the goodies not found in the anime, I still liked the anime a lot and made me a fan of the franchise.

I was also delving into the second game, but with Something Awful's Let's Play of it. Sadly, they orphaned the LP, so now i'm stuck without knowing what will happen and I don't know when will I get a Vita. Maybe I should search for another LP.

You should saearch for another one lol. The second game seemed longer to me in playing it than the first one.  

For me playing the game first then watching the anime it was seriously watching the first game play out word for word. I mean it was nice to see it in animation and I really loved how they kept the same graphics for the death scenes, but it just wasn't as cool to me as it would have been if I had done it the other way around probably.

I really want to play these but I still I have the two most recent Phoenix Wright games, not to mention 999 and Virtual's Last Reward, to play. They look really good though.

Well I am sure if you like the errieness from 999 and Last Reward and like the investigating of who done it from Phoenix Wright you're gonna like these games. I certainly say get those you mentioned out of the way first especially 999 and Last Reward, they are amazing.

time to check them out. Moreso after reading about Alex's thoughts about the games from awhile back.
