It would be neat to see the Cowboys in a Super Bowl, but all I really want is that both teams, whoever they may be, both have a good time and have fun.
And I just sent you a message, by the way.

As I wanted, the Green Bay Packers just changed their record to 7-3 with today's win, and Philidelphia ties that record after the Packers blow out another team at home. The other football team in the NFL I root for, the Dallas Cowboys are also 7-3. So are the Detroit Lions, the Denver Broncos, and the Kansas City Chiefs. Hell, wrong sport, but the Dallas Mavericks are 7-3!
I have a superstition about the number 3 as an omen of major events, good or bad, but 7 is always a lucky number in my crazy head.
So where is all this going? Only the Cardinals have a better record than these teams as far as those who have played 10 so far with 9-1 (only lost to Broncos), and Patriots' 7-2 record with 9 games is similar, though they may go 8-2. So that's 6-7 teams (I'll say 7 cause it feels more lucky) basically tied for second-best record in the NFL right now.
I'm hoping the Dallas Cowboys go to the Superbowl this year and I know people will say that's unrealistic. I'd be cool with a Packers Superbowl too and after the last two games, I think that's more realisitc. I don't see the Cardinals slowing down, so I think any Superbowl will be against them. Very curious to see how records change from here on out.
Oh and why the hell didn't the Houston Texans start Ryan Mallett to begin with? And when the hell did I get so into football? Oh right, when I got an HDTV earlier this year and realized football is like the only sport on broadcast-only TV.
Im kind of hoping the pats dont make it. Im kind of sick of them. I think im ready for the pack to go again. As far as afc i dunno. I think the pats have a good chance but u never know about the chiefs for instance. I think like a lot of years there will be surprises.
I don't want the Pats to go either (don't tell Rangergirl lol), but I'm ready for a team we haven't seen in a while. Don't get me wrong, I love the Packers and will be ecstatic if Rodgers gets another ring, but ... you know what? I kinda want the Texans to go, even though it's not gonna happen. haha
I think the Cardinals are done. Losing Carson is going to suck momentum out of them and that veteran presence in the huddle during the playoffs is key. It would be nice to see them in the Super Bowl (I have proclaimed them as my bandwagon team and telling people as a lifelong fan of 3 years of the Cards). I think the Cowboys have a better chance than the Eagles because of the veteran QB in Romo...hopefully he doesn't go "Romo" in important times in the games.
The Texans are lost. They need to fix their QB situation, and either just give the ball to Mallett, or draft a QB.
They gave the ball to Mallett and it had me wondering if their record wouldn't be very different had they done so sooner ... I mean the Browns may not be power-ranked too too high, but they do have a winning record and I wouldn't have thought so from that game.
