Heres another example of a good game destroyed by crappy reveiws a game thats got a difficult learning curve and a reveiwer who, s on a time limit and doesn't have time to learn how to play and gives a biased reveiw that he has no clue on.

It has a deck building strategy which is excellent that most reveiws dont mention.

And in my opinion this is a good game its a hybrid its a turn based Dark Souls and need a fair reveiw I would like to see Chris Yargz give it a reveiw cause he takes the time to reveiw it properly so chris I hope you see this and give it a reveiw cause I know you will take the time to learn it and give a non biased reveiw.

it has a Strategy mode like Xcom or Fire Emblem which adds depth to the battles wich is crucial in succeeding.

It has a cross save on all three systems.

NAtURAL DOCtRINE is a challenging strategy RPG that features cross-play, cross-save, and stunning visuals. Strategy role-playing gamers be ready, as this title will truly test your ability to conquer the evils that lurk in the sprawling networks of mines and ruins in the areas surrounding the fortress city of Feste.

Seasoned explorers and novices alike venture underground into dangerous caves to collect the coveted material known as Pluton. During your first trip down into the depths of one of these mines, you and your new explorer friends quickly realize that things may be more dire than you had imagined as you encounter a brand-new type of evil lurking below the surface. You and your newfound friends must strategically defeat these new difficult foes and warn the kingdom of their presence before it’s too late.

Any way you take it its a good game that shouldnt be slammed cause reveiwers dont have time or dont have a clue what there doing, below is more info on the game and NIS did a good job on it take it from someone who plays and loves these type of games.

Kadokawa Game Studio and publisher NIS America are already offering preorders for Natural Doctrine on PS3, PS4, and PS Vita, each available as either a standard release or, for an extra twenty dollars, a special edition that includes goodies like an “adventure pack,” art book, and a few other extras. The game is set to include cross-play and save sharing functionality between all three versions, giving players a lot of freedom for when, where, and how they can get their tactical RPG experience on.

Natural Doctrine was released late last year in Japan, and sparked interest with players worldwide clamoring for information on release dates in other countries. While the game will be coming to North America first, it will also be making the journey across the Atlantic for a European release only three days later on September 19th.

Kadokawa Games Studio is a subsidiary of Kadokawa Games Ltd. They are known primarily for handheld games spanning the DS and PSP libraries, though they are also responsible for publishing the controversial Suda 51 project Lollipop Chainsaw.

Each version of Natural Doctrine will be available at a different price point according to preorders on the game’s NIS America store page. The game’s “Standard Edition” is available for 39.99 on the PS Vita, 49.99 on PS3, and 59.99 on the PS4. For the special limited edition releases the pricing is 59.99, 69.99, and 79.99, respectively. Natural Doctrine will be made available both as a retail release and as a digital download.

Have you found a review that better fits your opinion of it? We've been through the 'this reviewer sucks' thing a lot on this site and I think most agree to stick to reviewers that better suit our taste in games. You've played enough of these types of games that I'd probably read your opinion before trying one out honestly. This also seems to be a kind of niche game that I doubt mainstream sites would give proper attention to.

Yes your right but back to westernizing jrpgs this is a good example I bought this game new by the way lol!!"but horrible reveiws hurts the relocation of jrpgs as much if not more then buying games used it just upsets me to see big sites give it poor reveiws due to lack of understanding of  the games.

And you feel great about it I'll bet. "I paid full price for this awesome game and its worth it, reviews be damned!" As long as you enjoy the game what does it matter what people think. Actually, you do have a point here, if reviews are bad, no one will buy  it thus no more localizations.  Honestly, you are the master of these types of game. Just put your own review out and put some tips in for beginners.Cool

I don't know, Rodney, I played this game for review (my review isn't finished yet), and I found the game pretty bad.  Have you finished the game yet?  I couldn't get past the missions eventually, as it was too unbalanced.

Why is the game bad? Maybe ask Lee for tips? He says its great.

it's a masochist's paradise -- and completely unbalanced.  I'm talking playing each mission ten times and still losing because of insta-fail mechanics.  I sunk hour after hour into this game, hoping it was just me, but eventually I realized it's the game that no one bothered to play test.  I'm just curious to see if he beat the game, because I thought it was cool in the beginning as well.

The game is unbalanced I agree with the chain mech its cool but then you realize that the enemy uses the same chains and with you out numbered 10 to one it feels very unfair but a patch was released that supposedly fixes this issue we shall see but the game over all is fun in my opinion of course this is the type of games I thrive on. And im pretty far into the game I havent beat it and had to restart alot but no deal breakers as of yet.

Another tip that helps me is the cover system you have to use guard alot kinda like overwatch in xcom there is creatures in this game that can kill you in one hit chaining guard is essential and when you move your main character always put your ranged characters close behind your melee characters but like I said earlier the chain system is a catch 22 yea its works great until its the enemy, s turn and when your out nubered 10 to 1 in some cases its almost completely unfair but the 1.4 patch for it came out and is supposed to fix the balance issue so we will see.

And snee are you using the battle decks what your thoughts on this but I do respect your opinion on this as unlike other reveiws I think yours will be good since you know how to play these games and take the time to at least learn the game =-)

yeah I had a lot of problems with it.  I guess after awhile I couldn't handle restarting it over and over.  It was hard because there were a lot of things i really liked about it, and I did have fun with it.  But it was just becoming such a time sink and I wasn't progressing in the game, and finally I just couldn't handle it anymore.

I didn't hear about the patch.  I'll look that up.  I thought I was prepared for the game but I guess I wasn't.

I really respect that you enjoy it so much though, makes me rethink my opinion on it.

I do like it snee but you are right with the balance issue if you think about the link system if you have a party of 4 then link its pretty devastating but whwn your fighting 12 goblins and they all link there attack your really at a huge disadvantage it really doesn't seem like a fair fight especially when they have the same weapons and the fact that theres no store and you have to find all your equipment and that you cant link opening a chest makes it harder but this is like a turned based dark souls cause one hit from a big creature and its game over lol!!

So the game was literally broken before patch? Ouch! Cry

I dont know the state of the game before I bought it but I do know I downloaded a patch for it but if snee said it was broke I would have to beleive him but the uneven battles do make it a difficult game.

Not sure about this one. I really didn't take notice to it. Still not sure since i never seem to catch on with card games, be it physical or digital. Thus why I didn't get inot the card mini game in KOTOR.

Its definitely not a card game its a very tough strategy game you use the cards later to boost your squad this game requires serious patients and understanding of the link system I totally recommend this only if you like unique srpgs done differently.
