So I'm not much for going out on Black Friday. In my part of California, people tend to go batshit crazy and get stupid with each other over discounted goods.
I know, I know....that's EVERYWHERE in the States on this particular day.
This momentary lapse of reason and manners didn't prevent me from getting a couple things I've wanted for a long time, though:
I found Shadow Of Mordor Legion Edition on sale for 30 bucks on the PSN. I'm not one of those cats that absolutely has to have a game in physical form, so I asked Monica if she'd let me snap it up, being as I've wanted this game since it came out. At half off (at least half off, I'm not sure if the Legion Edition was more than 60 bucks, though I am sure that the added content was digital-exclusive), I nabbed my most wanted Xmas prez a bit early.
I also snapped up this game:
Lord Of The Rings: War In The North. It released back in 2011 to middling reviews, but hey, I'm a fan of all things Tolkien, and when you factor in Action-RPG....well, I was happy to part with the 10 bucks. Also got this one from PSN from the Co-Op Sale that's currently underway.
So....all in all...added to my monstrous backlog....the two aforementioned titles, my recent acquisitions of SSX, Alice: MR, and Battlefield BCII....and the gigacntic timesink that is Dragon Age Inquisition....and the fact that my little nephew gave me his old 3DS XL (which I have to get fixed because he managed to screw up the charging port)....well, it all boils down to the fact that I have enough on my hands until Bloodborne releases.
Probably for a long time after it releases, to be honest.
Hope you all had a good Turkey Day.
Cheers!
