So I know delays can't be too much of a bad thing. If a game needs more time it's good for a developer to take it and fix any issues or make changes they need but delaying a game twice is ridiclous. The Witcher 3 was originally to be released this year. However they delayed it this past summer to Feb 2015. I was okay with its first delay, I figured hey a few more months I can deal. I'm am in no where near fine this time. It's now delayed till May 2015. The only good thing I can tell myself is that I won't be paying for 2 collectors sets back to back even though I had a plan to make it easier on me. Now my only game so far in Feb in The Order. I've been doing so good avoiding stuff for since I figured"hey it releases in just a few months now I can wait for release"I'm not happy.....just not happy. I'm seeing red. I was so excited for Feb. Now not has much :(

Hope ur all having a better day

I actually think this is a good thing. I remember giving up on Witcher 2 when it first came out on PC because it had certain bugs and didn't run that well on my hardware. Then after a few patches later, it ran much better. I ended up rebuying for 360, then played again on PC. Better a good game than a broken game I say. Oh, and I originally bought the collector box too.

Delays I agree can be good but not when its done more then once.  Especially this close to the release they previous set just this past summer. I wasn't a fan of Witcher 2 because is was severally different from the first one. They changed lot of things and I can only wonder if they did it to make it work more easy on console. I also didn't play them on launch since I didn't get them till last year.

I just dont think that the company that makes the games is very reliable, historically speaking. Witcher 1 didn't really work that well on my PC either, and it wasn't my PC, it was just the way the game was made. Witcher 1 didn't work well until several years after patches were made. They are  small company I think, so I wouldn't hold my breath too long for an earlier release date. I need only mention the Crew and Assasincs Creed Unity to illustrate how customers will turn on you with bad launches.

I want the game as soon as possible, like you I enjoy the franchise, but I really just a want a solid working game. There are plenty of games out there to play, or even Witcher books which are just splendid to read if you want a Witcher fixin.

I really need to read the books. I guess I can Def take my time in those for the first half of next year. It's just disappointing. That game was the one I was so excited to get for the first half of the year. I'm ready to know Geralts final chapter for his story. Your right thou, the company isn't very reliable.

I've always wanted to play this series. Haven't gotten to it yet though.

Its a good series, the first game is PC only but the second is also on 360. I say take ur time though, we hot a long wait for the third one.

I've had games I was looking forward to delayed, sometimes for a long time. I'd rather have something delayed than have a broken game.

Trust me I don't want a broken game, but I honestly don't think that's the reason for the delay. It was announced a few days ahead of the delay that their would be a second playable character. It's just odd for that to come and then a delay. They also said there wouldn't be another delay which I know I shouldn't take the word a developer seriously half the time but this is disappointing. The game I was most excited for to start next year was this one.

Multiple delays isn't uncommon and in light of the disastrous releases of some recent games (AC: Unity/Rogue, Halo: Master Chief Collection), I think its a wake-up call for developers. If they can afford to take a hit financially and delay the release to fix as many bugs as possible, they should. In the recent press release from the studio, they specifiy that as the reason itself.

I'll be interested in playing it, but I have tons of games to get to before it arrives. And 2015 is packed with so many promising titles.
