Well today was daddy daughter day for me and my oldest. We went to the Library to get bedtime books and do some crafts. We Then went to Chic Fil A for lunch. After lunch we went to the Mall and walked around. Finally we made it to Game Stop and Software seconds. I got Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 1 PS3 at Game Stop. Then at Software seconds I picked up Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone PSone and Rocket N64. My daughter was playing Rocket on the stores N64 and she loved it so I bought it.

I almost have all the Harry Potter games now, Yay me. I love the books and Movies and never played the games so nowI am playing catch up.

Thanks for reading. Did you buy any games today?

Oh before I forget. My wife is shocked I did not come home with the New God of War. LOL. Maybe when the price drops on it. I love GoW but I am not 60 bucks back story in love with it LOL.

That is it for now happy gaming Pixlbits.

Never heard of Rocket N64.  What's it about?

I never heard of it either. Right now all I can tell you it is about a robot. It was Developed by Sucker Punch ( Sly Cooper, Infamous). Ofcourse I will play it and have more about it later. So far it looks really good. The guy at the store said he had a bunch of copies until people saw it being played then they went like crazy. I got the last one.

That's one thing I really miss about when my nephew Austin was little and we go do stuff together. One of the annual pilgrimages was to GameStop, where he'd get to pick out an Auntie-approved game for us to play together, plus one for himself. It was the same deal we had at the bookstore - one book Auntie wouldn't mind reading, and one he could look at for himself. He's 16 now, and won't be up this summer. Enjoy this time while you can, Larry, they grow up so quick!

I know. She starts Home school this year and plays on her computer like an adult. I love my kids and love spending time with them.

Good stuff man, spending some quality time with your daughter! I bought God Of War yesterday, so no new games for a bit. I think I own that PS Harry Potter, and it isn't bad. I've never tried Rocket, but it sounds interesting.

How is the GP on GoW so far?  I will still get it just now right now.

New games and time spent with the family sounds like great times! I think I'm gonna skip the new GOW after seeing that one dude's review from Ben's blog about it.

It real does not bring anything new other than Multiplayer, which I will never play, I just like playing the GoW games.

Sounds like a nice day. I loved the HP books, liked the movies, but never played any of the games.

When you said the developers of Sly Cooper developed Robot, I got curious, since Sly is one of my favorites, and found some TAS footage. Looks like there's a minigame where you feed the presidents of Mt. Rushmore. Seems like a decent platformer with that Sucker Punch charm, might be interesting to see where they started.

I think I may have found a hidden gem.

Chik Fil A is so good! Love their sandwhiches. Is that store you went to[software seconds] like a vintage store? We have one here called Vintage Stock that is quite awesome. One of the last places to find good vintage games. Glad you were able to spend time with your daughter. I make game hunting trips with my son on a regular basis. We hit pawn shops and flea markets. All kinds of places.

Software Seconds is a vintage gaming store. This store has it all. Atari, NES, SNES, 3DO, Imported games, ETC. I am a kid in a candy store in that place. I take my oldest to the game stores and comic book shops. She loves it. She drug me into a PC gaming store yesterday at the mall LOL.
