This is the inaugural video game review of my new series: This Is What I'm Playing, Dude. In this episode we review Outlast by Red Barrels Games. Outlast centers around a story driven survival horror campaign told in first-person narrative and set in a dilapidated psychiatric hospital overrun by homicidal patients. Its presentation is similar to the found footage genre popularized in horror films.However the kicker in this game is that you can not fight back against your attackers--you can only run, hide, or die!

I give you my thoughts and impressions of this game.

This is my first attempt at reviewing video games. I hope to invest in a pop filter for my microphone and do a little more writing a scripting for these reviews in the near future. Any feedback from you guys would be appreciated.
