Now there's a game I've been wanting to get back to. If there's another Fire Emblem game, I'm all over that.

So GG now stands for GamerGate. The only thing I can say about the movement, regardless what goes on, is that I support the ethics of gaming in general whether or not I’m part of the club. That being said I would like to say that GamerGate has finally gone against me as a gamer by abbreviating the name. Now I have to type out “Good Game” to avoid a bad situation when all I want to do is just play.
In any case next Friday will be my birthday. The big Three-Oh and I have only one plan: to complete the main campaign of Fire Emblem Awakening and enjoy the finer things in-game at my leisure, such as experiencing the stories of the DLCs and recruiting people who just came back to life because hypertime has finally broke. But in all seriousness Awakening is the first 3DS game I got after I purchased the system and I have put the epic battle against Walhart on hold for long enough. The game has been my favorite 3DS game, despite being a diehard Pokemon player, and I would like to just play the “post game” (I’ve read ahead a bit) in between other games if I’m not working hard on saving up for Awakening 2.
There is a rumor that a new Fire Emblem will be announced. There is also rumor of a new Pokemon game taking place in Kalos.
Starting with the new Pokemon game I just hope it’s DLC. I just got the fourth badge and the cosplay Pikachu this week and it feels like it would be too soon if it did announce on the next Nintendo Direct, coming this January 14th. As for Fire Emblem the rumor stated that the limited edition games will come with a 1:1 Falchion replica. The problem: only for Europe and Japan. Now these are just rumor and I should not take them seriously, but I would be more than happy to make payments for a game that came with a replica of a dragon-slaying sword. Hell, I would beg Mom for some extra cash for it.
There’s your comedic imagery, ladies and gentlemen: a 30 year old man asking his 60-some-odd-young mother for a fantasy sword. Until then, at the sound of the ding, level 30.
