Pokemon fighting game?!?
I really missed the boat with the whole Pokemon thing. When I get a new 3DS I'm gonna get on the bandwagon.

It's been a while since we last heard of Pokken news, to the point where I forgot about a fighting game where you play as Pokemon in my most wanted games list. I mean, what the hell Greenman? So, since Lucario and Machamp are the only Pokemon confirmed, I'm gonna list some Pokemon who I want to play as in Pokken. I'm not going to put in the huge no brainers though like Charizard or Hitmo(chan/lee/top), we all know those guys are coming. These are not as popular, iconic, or a no brainer Fighting type, but I feel could bring something interesting to the game.
Greninja
Okay, Greninja actually is a certain bet, the thing's in Smash! Nevertheless, I feel Greninja would bring something unique to Pokken, as his ninja fighting style could lead to some interesting moves like how Smash interpreted Substitute and Shadow Sneak as Smash Bros moves.
Ambipom
A bit of a longshot, but with how far those two tail/hands can reach, I think Ambipom can give a fast paced, fun moveset for Pokken.
Kabutops/Scyther/Scizor/Gallade/Bisharp
Their arms are scythes/swords/THE CLAMPS! What reason could you possibly come up with for not wanting these guys in it?
Aegislash
For those unfamiliar with X and Y, Aegislash is a Ghost/Fighting type whose unique ability is to switch between offensive (right) and defensive (left) stances. When attacking, he is extremely frail, but packs a whallop and in a defensive pose, he tanks hits like a champ. This could very easily lead to a very unique fighting game character with an interesting, complex moveset.
Marowak
The reason I bring up Marowak is because unlike every other Pokemon on this list, he has a weapon: That bone he holds. One he can't just hit things with, but is known for throwing like a boomerang. That could give him a potentially interesting moveset, which combined with his small size, could make for an interesting fighter.
Slaking
Slaking is one here because of how unique of a Pokemon he is. He is the strongest non-Legendary Pokemon in the entire franchise, with a bizarre drawback: He slacks off every other turn. The idea of a character who packs a whallop, but needs a recharge period is intriguing enough that the developers should at least toy with the concept.
Breloom
Breloom may not look like it, but this thing packs one hell of a punch. With his short arms and lack of bulk (in the RPGs at least), I think Breloom could be an interesting addition as a hyper offensive Pokemon.
Arcanine/Metagross
Quadrupeds are a tough sell for Pokken, but these two still deserve a spot. A fan favorite, Arcanine has many powerful moves, including curiously Close Combat (fighting type move implying lots of punches and kicks). I think they could give Arcanine a unique fighting style if they were to add him to Pokken.
Metagross, meanwhile, has an interesting way of moving, almost like a spider, and has his four legs bend in a way which would work amazingly in a fighting game. He would work best as a slow, but bulky and powerful fighter, but he would work well.
Heracross
I'm not going to lie, Heracross is on here mostly because I love this guy. But, as a Bug/Fighting type, I'm almost sure he'll make it in the roster. And his horn will definitely add a few good moves to his asernal along with the usual punches and kicks.
Dragonite
My favorite Pokemon ever, Dragonite would probably have a few projectiles with little range for his punching moves, but I still feel should be in Pokken no matter what. In a game which will have all the big, intimidating Pokemon from the series, it'll be nice to have this friendly face in the mix.
Now what Pokemon do you want? Besides Charizard, we all know you want Charizard and we all know he's going to be in the game!
Lopunny may also be a posible choice, especialy with the new Mega Evo that adds a fighting type, although I do wonder if they are going to include them.
The rest I can think of would be Infernape, Empoleon and Weavile, though I think the first won't be lickely considering Blaziken. Empoleon perhaps, since though also a water type like Greninja, he's the only Water type so far with a secondary Steel typing. Weavile I think can make for an interesting adition of a character that's very weak physically, but it's fast on the movement.
Weavile actually packs quite the punch, but is really frail. Would make another good smaller Pokemon though. Lopunny I could see, but I really don't like that thing's design, regular or Mega. Empoleon could work, but Infernape I'd want to avoid. Hate that thing. The starters I'd go with are the original 3, Feraligatr, Blaziken, Sceptile, maybe Swampert, Empoleon, Chesnaught, and Greninja.
