It's called the PlayBox. And it's the product of engineer andYouTuber Ed Zarick - who decided the best thing for gaming was to build both a PlayStation 4 and an Xbox One into a single laptop.

The gaming beast sports a 22-inch 1080p fold-down screen and a switch on the back that toggles the consoles.

Unfortunately, only one of them can be powered at a time.

Zarick is no stranger to engineering gaming devices as he previously created separate laptop-style versions of the Xbox One and PS4 separately.

I must admit that im intrigued.

It's cool. But for some reason I have a feeling a high-end PC hooked up to a TV and with controller compatibility is basically the same thing, plus it would have even more games.

Not saying that to be "PC Master Race," cause I'm not (maybe if I had the money for a proper rig), but ... actually wait, if you're not able to turn both on at a time, what is causing that split-screen? lol

My thoughts too. Just get a PC. What can't you play on PC that's on console, I'd like to know.

Now that I think about it, we might both have just made a pretty solid argument for Wii U. Can't play those games on PC (legally).

I remember during the PS2/XBox/Gamecube era Tech TV did something like this where they basically took the guts out of all three, placed them in a box and slapped a projector on it.

It would be fun to have something like a combo console be available for sale.
