It seems Minecraft works on or with anything. I see kids in the library every day playing it in a browser.

This weekend has been more productive than usual as far as computer projects go (I have an associates degree saying I’m skilled in the field so I might as well put it to practice). I’ve played around on my laptop out in the living room and managed to get a few service to work with Chromecast through Chrome, except for Hulu because for some reason there is no web function for the device or Chrome. I couldn’t go all out because the app for Chromecast is only compatible for Windows 7 and up, but at least the Googlecast extension made things easy. Another little project I wanted to try was getting Steam Big Screen but since Vista SP2 does not react to Toshiba machines very well that function is kind of out of the question. Another issue that stopped me from playing Steam on the projector TV was trouble finding the VGA cable we had before. So in short Steam TV is on hold.
One project that was a success was getting Minecraft to work and save on a flash drive. I might add Technic to the drive since my friend likes to play a modded server from time to time. Not sure if the script for the batch file will be different considering that the launcher boots up different mods. But if I do get this to work then I got something better than a Gameband. This would have been cool if I did this in college, or if the majority of the classes weren't stereotypical adults...
That’s about it for the weekend. Birthday is coming about and I better prepare for the battles ahead.
