So they are discontinuing club nintendo, there gonna replace it with a new program which they haven't given any details yet on. You earn coins up until March 31, 2015. They will still rewards for elite members but I believe it will be digital stuff like last year. They will have them up in April to choose from. They will be adding alot of rewards apparently in February for users to spend their coins.

I'm kind of glad their getting a new program. This one has gone down hill for a long time now and like another youtuber mentioned the NA site hasn't been given much love at all. I'm curious to what the new program will be and bring but I'm actually excited for it. Club Nintendo hasn't been all bad, the one memorable thing I got from it was a Majoras Mask soundtrack. It had 2 cds with 50 songs a piece on each and while some were short lil noises from random things in the game I love it.

Anyone else excited? Did you get anything you love  from the reward site?

I'm a little bummed because I thought the overall concept was fun way to reward customers who bought Nintendo products. Of course I've only been with the program for maybe a year but it was always fun to look through the various offers.

Hopefully the new program will still reward customers with emails with codes and offers for redeemable games.

Looks like I should spend my remaining coins on something fun for the 3DS.

man I wish I had that soundtrack, but it came out way before I started participating in CLub Nintendo.  I hope that their new program is chill.

I was never able to earn enough points before they expired to get anything good, so I gave up years ago.

No opinion, since I never used Club nintendo, but does this mean there's a Direct coming up?

I wish I could have registered on Club Nintendo, but sadly it was only avaiable on US territory. Oh well, looking forward to what they'll bring and maybe also reward those that don't live in the US.

I have to wonder why they feel they need to make a whole new program rather than just improve Club Nintendo. I just hope they offer some good closing rewards, because I have a mountain of coins.

I think people who are glad about this are assuming it will be replaced by something better. But I don't think it will meet our idealised expectations, so people are just setting themselves up for disappointment. Which is pretty much what we all did with Club Nintendo for six years.

I'm with Kathrine on this one.  I'm not so sure that whatever is coming next will be better, or even as good as Club Nintendo.  I'm not sure if I want to register the rest of the games I have now.  Or wait until this all goes to pot and they hit the reset button.  The fact that they encouraging us to use our points now tell me that the current method of registering for points will not carry over into the new way.

I'm a little sad to see Club Nintendo go, but I could kind of tell it was time it would happen anyway since the last couple of years were not so good as far as prizes were concerned.  Nintendo is USUALLY pretty good about customer loyalty programs, so here's hoping they'll have something better in the future.  I certainly took full advantage of Club Nintendo, getting cool things like the two DS Game & Watch collections, a remade Game & Watch Ball, Platinum rewards like a statue of Nintendo characters, buttons, a Luigi's Mansion figure, Harafuda cards, and more!  Only thing I missed that I wish I could've gotten was the Kirby 20th Anniversary pin that was supposedly on the site for about a week!

Thanks for reminding me. I think I forgot to register Fantasy Life. I'll have to do that and then use up my points for something. It'll be interesting to see what they do next.

Gonna miss Club Nintendo, but if it means that something better comes along, I'm all for it.
