And so the next Dragons Dogma is Online and F2P!

I scoffed at the idea of Dragons Dogma becoming a subscription based MMO, but as it turns out it will be Free To Play and you can play with up to 4 players online. It's supposed to come out on PC, PS3 and PS4 but I don't know about a western release.

I think this might actually be kind of cool. Dragons Dogma is much more accessible than Monster Hunter and I really loved the lore and world of the first game.

I read it on NeoGaf so take it for what it's worth.

I play several F2P MMOs and I've never spent a dime. If there is a paywall to progress, I'll definitely drop it. I have to wait and see for the game to come out. It seems like a fun game to play with friends online anyhow. At least, that was the impression I got from the first game.

How graphically advanced are those games and how much money went into developing them, though? I'm just not sure something like Dragon Age is going to remain free.

If it comes here which I figure it will, I'll probably give it a chance. F2P might have a semi rotten name to itself but I've learned if u have patience u can make a badass character without spending any money on it. I liked Dragon's Dogma and while I'd prefer an actual sequel I'll be fine with this.

I don't know how well Dragons Dogam sold, but I'm glad the game still lives in one form or another. The game does lend itself to coop play anyway. We'll have to wait and see.

I recommend the game highly. I know a couple of people on here played it and liked it a lot. It is very grindy and long though, but you can get a feel for the best parts of the game in the very beginning.

I played the first one. Would love to go back and try and finish it. Don't know about a MMO. I'm getting kind of tired of every IP going online multiplayer. I just don't game like that. I'm not a social gamer. I don't even like talking on the phone.
