Buying A PS4 In A Couple Days!

Hello Pixlbit!

Gonna be getting a PS4 in a couple days...hopefully tomorrow, as the tax returns were filed early and the gov'ment is sending refund money quick this year.

My girl downloaded a coupon for 10 percent off, so we'll be getting it a bit cheaper than full price.

I've already switched my Gamefly Q over to accommodate the new system. Gonna give the PS3 to my son, who has inexplicably come to be waaaay better than me at 3rd Person Shooters...I caught him playing the Mafia II demo yesterday, and doing damn good at it. He's 7.....when did he suddenly pick up chops at the "heavier" games?

I'll keep you guys posted on the purchase. Can't wait for it, myself!

Awesome! And I think under-10s are just naturally better at video games. They have more time to spend with the games I think. Kinda like when I was a really good shot at basketball, I made what looked like extremely lucky shots because all I ever did upon coming home was go to the driveway and shoot hoops.

I just saw Killzone Shadowfall for like $15 at Gamestop the other day. Made me really want a PS4.

I think I'm gonna hold out until Xmas. I'd rather just have a large cheap catalog of games to look back on, but your Gamefly sub seems to be paying off.

I may get a PS4 this year. My wife & I really want to play The Witcher 3 and the PS4 is looking like the place to play it on. The PC version of the game will be better, but I can't put the money toward a new PC yet.
