Currently playing the hell out of Fire Emblem: Awakening on the 3DS. This game just pulled me right in, didn't expect to reach 52 hours of playing time. At the moment, I'm at Chapter 20 and I don't want this game to end.
Speaking of Fire Emblem, I'm trying really hard to stick with Super Smash Bros. on the WiiU but the online can be awfully laggy. Hell, I've even got the USB ethernet adapter just to make sure I've got a stable condition. Its quite possible the other players don't have a wired connection or I'm just not resetting my router before I play the game(which is annoying even though it takes a minute to do). When I do have good connection, its just fun as hell; currently maining Lucina, she's pretty solid but I hate the fact that she doesn't have downward attacks like Robin or Link.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on the PC: Man, this game didn't age well for me. The combat just doesn't feel immersive or intense; its often frustrating and clumsy. Boss fights are even worst as they lack urgency and intensity. The story is interesting but considering how Disney just wiped out the expanded universe, you kind of wonder were this game has place in Star Wars' canon. This was just coming off of Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy; that game is such a better Star Wars game then the Force Unleashed.
Sleeping Dogs on the PS4: Two years I bought the game on the Xbox 360 but it fell deep into my pile of shame never to be played again. Rewind to last month, when I decided to give it a chance on the current gen consoles with all the DLC included at discounted price ($40). The game makes one hell of first impression but I feel once the game does open up and you're driving around Hong Kong......Well, I don't know. The driving mechanics feel kind of loose and it doesn't help when driving into metal railings and barriers reduce your police score. Plus it bugs me when games copy the Arkham games fighting mechanics but are not as exciting or fluid.
Alien: Isolations on the PS4: Damn, this game is incredibly intense. It also backs up my arguement that other people are just the worst. Stupid broken down society, sticken on a desolate space station with killer androids and Xenomorph. Fun though....
Freedom Wars on the PS Vita: A futuristic shooter where you lost your memory and a overly demanding dystopian society decides to punish you by spending you to prison for a million years. I actually bought this game back in September or August and I just forgot about it for a while. It has some third person shooter/melee mechanics; its interesting but it has this slow burn of introducing mechanics and story.
Resident Evil HD Remaster: my laptop can't run it at 1080p or on high. My gaming desktop can, looks amazming.
Pre-ordered the "New" 3DS as well and it comes out February 13th; at least I got gift for somebody I somewhat tolerate, myself. Also my niece, I think I spoiler her too much. Obviously, she doesn't mind :)
Gone Girl and Old Boy, movies about revenge or the best/worst prank ever. Rosamind Pike was amazing.
As for the new Fantastic Four trailer, it hit me in all the right spots and I'm excited about this movie now. Some people feel that it might too grim-dark/unfaithful towards the comic but then again how did that bright/comedic route work the for the original movies work out. Also I like the fact that it has that scene from the Ultimate Comics were Reed was sending toy cars into the negative zone from his garage when he was a kid.

I'm hyped about F4 too. It looks cool, and I don't care that it looks "dark". As far as the early films are concerned, this franchise has nowhere to go but up.
I'd like to play Alien Isolation. Maybe once I get a PS4.
Yeah, the Force Unleashed.... so much hype. Of course, it is fun killing Wookies as Darth Vader. ;)

Seems like yet another F4 origin story. Can't they get off that stuff for once? I know the origin story already. Still, looks kinda cool.
