That right there was also my saddest gaming moment, and I had the same feeling toward Albert that you did. And I felt bad for Lavitz's mother, too.

Spoiler Alert, if you have never beaten Legend of Dragoon for PSX I suggest you avoid reading this if you don't want any of the story given away.
I was recently replaying Legend of Dragoon, as some of you know I record and post it on youtube with commentary for a "Let's Play" channel. I'm currently miles ahead of where I left off on youtube and will get back to posting videos ASAP. But I thought I would share this moment with you, that to this day, brings me to tears.
I was journeying through the game as normal and I came to the saddest moment I've ever had in a video game. Lavitz, my dear friend and trusted comrade, was killed before my very eyes by the ultimate baddie in the LoD game.
I can remember the first time I witnessed this and the frustration I felt and having the only support character (at that time) that I really connected to. Lavitz gave off a sense of honor you don't get anywhere else in the game, he was the perfect best friend and right hand man, he always seemed like he'd lay his life down for you at any moment and in an instant he did just that.
I also remember that the first time this happened for me in the game, I had complete disdain for Lavitz's replacement they bring in later in the game. Nowadays I've grown accustomed to the replacement, Albert's, prescense but I must say it still feels like there's a huge hole in the team without Lavitz there.
SO have you guys ever had a video game moment that actually saddened you? What about one that made you angry?
