Wow, you're playing a lot of games right now! I want to play the RE Remaster—heck, I've wanted to play the REmake for 10 years—but I'm hoping it will get a physical release. I don't remember if they've said anything about it.

BaD day 1, Let the Cartoon Begin!
I have the day off today because of the 20 centimetres of snow that fell in London overnight. That's about 8 inches for you 'murcans.
I'm actually still working from the kitchen table but not so you'd notice.
Yesterday I got to play a bit more of RE: Remastered. I'm much better at it with the analog controls since I can run away easily now. I just met my good buddy Lisa for the first time. :) With it's limited save system RE does not really support playing in small chunks so I hope I have enough ink ribbons to get me to the end. I'm sure I'll find more down the road. I'm almost back the the sharks again which is as far as I got in the GC version.
I also downloaded the PC version of Dementium II that I picked up on Greenman Gaming for a couple of bucks. I never got to finish the DS version before it sold so I thought I give it a shot.
The graphics won't win any awards, hell they wouldn't have won any 10 years ago but I had fun playing for about an hour. The thing is not without it's bugs though even though it was originally released in 2013. Sometimes pressing a key or a controller button results in the game completely ignoring the command. I got stuck in the menu for about a minute before the button that was supposed to return me to the game did anything.
Anyway I'm not going to bitch too much for 3 bucks.
Persona Q got a few hours of attention yesterday but I'm finding the going really slow. I'm about 74% done the Group Date dungeon. I've built 3 different teams but seem to go back to the same one more often than not.
I'm still playing Suikoden II and while it's very good I'm not seeing how it is that much better than the first game. The major battles are even less fun than in the first game and I didn't like them there much at all.
I do like all the characters who return from the first game though. Even though the story can stand on it's own I now recommend playing the first game first. It not only has a lot of repeat characters but you get bonuses in SII for levelling them up.
Anyway that's my first BaD blog out of the way with at least 19 more to come.
"Until you pin me BaD is not over!"
aw that must have been nice to get a snow day.
I do want to get that RE Remaster, but there's a couple indie games I want to pick up first, and plus I've been hesitating between buying games and trying to actually finish some lately. I know -- weird for me.
From someone living in Southern California, what is this "snow" you speak of? 8 inches sounds like a lot of the white stuff. Keep warm! I don't think I have the patience of playing through RE especially with looking for the ribbons. That was my downfall on the original Playstation.
THE PANDAS ARE BACK! THE PANDAS ARE BACK!
I started Persona Q a couple nights ago. I'm a few hours in. I'm slowly getting use to it. I don't like that I have to pay for healing. HP healing is fine, but charging for SP regeneration? That sucks. If I run out of SP and don't have enough money to heal, I'm screwed. Right now, I'm just worried about it. Hopefully, it's not something that will happen.
That's depressing. I noticed the healing price go up when I leveled up from 1 to 3. I was hoping the price would stay at 300 for a while. 3600 for SP potions? Why is everything so expensive? Maybe I'm doing something wrong. So far, battles take so much out of me and I get little back in return. All my money goes toward healing.
Yeah I didn't get the day off but I did get to sit at the kitchen table in track pants and an old shirt and I didn' have to make the 40 kilometre return trip so those are all bonuses.
PQ definitely makes more sense if you have completed 3 and 4. I haven't totally finished 3 because I got depressed at the beginning of the epilog (FES version) and stopped playing. I did finish the main story though.
Come on in, pull yourself up a chair, Let the fun begin it's time to let down your hair.....
LOL. My wife and I watched it religiously on Saturday mornings right after the Smurfs. It was full of jokes only adults would get and kind of surreal in it's intentional tackiness.
We usually get spared a lot of the big stuff here in the Banana Belt. We've only had two largish snowfalls this year, not nearly as bad as last year. I'm pining for the winter we had a couple of years back were we got nothing to speak of all season and were sitting on my mum's front porch in March getting bitten by mosquitos. :)
