Today has been "Nicole does adult things" as in pay bills, renew my car registration and some food shopping. Next payday I have to pay off The Order, get my inspection done, and my phone bill. Any thing left goes to moving pretty much unless I finish Assassin's Apprentice and buy the 2nd novel. I did find the last Artemis Fowl novel, gonna want to read it till I finish my current book. I have had one good thing today

this adorable baby of mine has been sleeping next to me all evening. Her name is Midnight ^_^

I read an article about how in Texas their gonna stop requiring the inspection tag. Their now gonna have the inspection and registration together on one tag starting after March. I'm getting my tags now and I'm not paying to change it next month. It will just have to wait till next year. Apparently they will save like 2 million a year by not making the inspection tag.

I read another article were Borderlands online multiplayer on PS3 is being restored. I think it's cool their restoring it for PS3 users. I know people would probably play online even though the series has 2 other games in it.

Moving has been delayed by a bit, the guy moving out of the place we are getting is stalling apparently. My future landlady believes he doesn't know of a place to go yet. He hasn't been paying rent properly though so it's annoying her to no end. She did let him know that she isn't gonna put up anymore with it and that she has promised the home to someone else aka me and Dan. It's perfect for us that she loves animals so she isn't charging me a deposit for my 3 animal babies and the rent is 500 for a 2 bedroom place that isn't an apartment. This place is like perfect so I'm gonna wait. Everywhere else that could work for us, is filled and has waiting list at ridiclous amounts.

Day 2 down, till tomorrow!

good luck on moving.  Moving is hard. My best friend Katharine is moving right now and it's driving her bonkers.  Course, she has a two year old so that doesn't help!

Being an adult sucks. I just left college and I'm sick of it already haha. Moving is the worst though. Hope you settle in alright.

And your cat is adorable and I want to steal it.

You can't steal her, she is mine mister! I can understand thou, lol

Being an adult does indeed suck, through this whole process I wished I could go back to being 5. All I had to worry about was coloring and watching tv.

Thats an excellent name, I told Dan if we ever get to have anymore kitties I wanna name one Catra, lol!

I don't think it hurts people who register before hand so I wouldn't worry too much.

I hate moving! It's too bad your future landlady can't turf the guy out but there's probably a law that says he has to have failed to pay for so many months before it's legal. Then those kind usually trash the place before they leave as revenge. After all it's not their fault they're a deadbeat.

Nice kitty, dark picture.

I that too but a friend told me something interesting. She knew someone who pretty much got kicked from a place like that because the landlord wouldn't take their rent money for the month. They weren't bad renters so it was ridiclous in their case but I wonder if they can do that. We might have found another place so fingers crossed for us!

I wish it hadn't of been that dark, she is a tux after all but the lighting in the room wasn't good.

Good luck with the move! My uncle had some apartments once. It was a constant nightmare for him trying to get those people to pay their rent on time and what not. They found a meth lab in one of them lol.

Thank you! We might have a place so I'm trying to get things calculated so I know what we need. I'd honestly believe it, where I live we have had many a news storie about how they found some drug lab in a apartment. People seem to think apartments are idle places for those.

Yeah. It was a huge ordeal. The whole building was contaminated, and it took them months to get it straight. My uncle doesn't handle stress very well so I felt so bad for him. Anyway, hopefully you won't run into any crap like that.

Wow that's cheap rent. My boyfriend is paying $650 a month for a one room unit without a real kitchen.

I was hopeing we get that place, now the place we found its 689.00 which isn't so bad because it's really spacious for me, him and our kitties. That sucks he is paying alot for something that doesn't even have a decent kitchen. The kitchen in the apartment we found isn't bad, it comes with the big utilities like a fridge and stove.

Yeah, rents up here are insane. I'm lucky, I rent from a friend. I'm paying $500/month, heat and electricity included. I also do a lot of work on the property - raking, shoveling, minor repairs like replacing some of the window panes that were broken when I moved in, helping her son (who might as well be my younger brother) with mechanical stuff. But up here, when you rent, the landlord has to provide the appliances.
