I had a really cool blog that I was typing up. But that all got erased. I tried to add a youtube video at the end, but it deleted all my text. I am really hot. I worked on it for 20 minutes and it was for nothing.

Trying to post things on this site doesn't work for me. I can't copy and paste from a separate program because it doesn't support touch screens. So I am forced to use the site editor instead of my browser. I don't like it and it sucks. I try to add a picture, and it puts it at the top of the blog.

I'm taking a long break from here because I am really pissed off. I am sorry for any inconvenience. Bye.

I don't always do it myself, but saving the text in Word is always a good idea.

You can copy and paste but you need to use keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl-Ins and Shift-Ins but that's somewhat problematic on a phone.

sorry man. What kind of device are u using to post? I've used my tablet a couple times, but mostly do it on a PC.

Oh, I didn't realize you were posting with a phone. My phone can't handle any website, let alone this one. (LG Optimus V)

I can see where posting using a tablet or phone could be problematic but that goes for a lot of sites.

That is a bummer man. I have had this happen to me too, and I have never been able to post pictures or video here with either my old pc or my current laptop. I used to do the copy paste from word but it does not work.

Good to know I'm not the only one. I refuse to post anymore blogs unless they fix the issues with the site.

I only post replys from ipad. I have to type out a blog on Wordpad or any text editor and copy/paste. We've all discussed this before. Just copy/paste from text editor if it is going to be a long, thought out blog. There is also a Draft option so you can save your progress in the blog editor.

The site editor won't support touch screens. I can't control/X or whatnot here, and yes, it's a problem. I have tried saving draft before, and I get what you're saying. Fine in theory, not in execution. I should not have to learn all the quirks of the site and remember everything all the time. It's just the way it goes.

I sometimes write in Word first and copy and paste. Other times I just write in the editor here. At home on my Laptop at night it works just fine, but in the library, where I am in the afternoon, I can't insert hyper-links or center photos on a page. And yeah, inserted photos and videos alway appear at the top and I have to ctrl-X and ctrl-V them back into the proper place.

I was wondering how a tablet or phone would work for this place since I think my next "computer" will be a tablet. Sounds problematical but maybe Nick can fix that. It's the age of the touch screen already.
