Looks like I was a bit off on being on the last floor in Persona Q. Just one of the pitfalls of not using guides when playing, I guess. Still have a ways to go then, which is good because I still don't think my levels are quite high enough to tackle whatever the endgame throws at me.

Not doing much other than that right now, other than a little excursion to help park some cars in the current icy terrain outside.

Icy terrain? Where you at? All I got is dry cold.

NYC. It's mainly stuff left over from the snow/icy rain storms that hit recently. There's still a lot that hasn't melted yet, mainly where people shoveled it into the city sidewalks. Really makes it hard to park, but it's managable with time and effort.

This is my first Persona game, but I have watched (most of) a P4 Golden Let's Play so I wasn't fully out of the loop at least.

Oh, a Clash reference! And that's a common issue when playing Japanese RPGs. You think you're at the end, and then...you aren't!

LOL, that last sentence is priceless. It's funny because it's true.

It's indeed true. Lost count of the number of times I thought I was at the end of a particular game and then -BAM- a whole other area to explore.

Yeah I came in here expecting a Clash video. Whats up with that Esteban? Laughing

I'm actually stuck on step 3 of the Group Dating dungeon. 69% done I found a room with 2 cupids to move and it appears to be too small to accomplish that feat. Thinking of just attacking one and seeing if I can kill it. LOL

Whenever I can't think of a blog title, I just use the name of the song that's currently playing on my iPod as a placeholder, and thought it was a funny coincidence to what I was doing in Persona Q at the time so I left it. Next time I'll be sure to put up an accompanying video if I can find one.

I remember that part, it's certainly doable. That was just one of the many puzzles I took way too long in figuring out.

I actually tried killing the one on the right facing me last night and I managed to continually curse or panic him I got to about 1/4 of his health left after half an hour and then I was too tired and went to bed.

There just aren't enough squares in the room to make a space with the guy on the right and there is no way to get the guy on the left to move anywhere because there's only one space between him and the water thingy that is blocking the way.

I figure force is the only way.

I did figure out the room with the three cupids that leads to a dead end with Chie's weapon in it though that took some thinking but at least I could see space. Unless I figure out the trick I'm muscling my way through tonight. :)

I've played games via guide and also without...I find, personally, that I have more fun with games when I don't have any reference points.

Admittedly though, there are plenty of times in games where I've needed to check a FAQ to progress and keep my sanity.

I only use a FAQ as a last resort. I agree with you on the need to check one in order to preserve some sanity.
