Gotta Catch Em All! Again!

Hello everyone. A long time ago in a website far,far away, I made a series of blogs that were about me trying to complete the Pokedex for the 4th Generation games I had which was Pokemon Pearl, Platinum, and SoulSilver. At that time the Pokedex count was 493 species of Pokemon. I had to do this 3 times which totals up to 1,479 Pokemon to obtain. I completed the Pokedex on all 3 and at the time it was one of my greatest achievements in a game

However, the 5th Generation games came and I never completed the Pokedex on those. Heck, I never caught many Pokemon nor found alot of legendary Pokemon. I've noticed this when my 3DS broke and had nothing to play on my DSi, and it's something I aim to fix now. There were 493 Pokemon since the 4th gen, in the 5th gen, the number totals to 649 Pokemon. I have to complete it in 2 games which is 1,298 Pokemon which is a bit less than last time. However in the previous games, by the time I wanted to achieve that goal, I had at least half the Pokedex completed whereas in this one I don't have alot on the Pokedex. In Pokemon White I have seen 516 Pokemon while I own 278 Pokemon. In Black 2 I've seen 428 while I own 198 of them.

So from this moment on to every once in a while I'll be posting my progress here. I had already started trying to complete it from November so I should be advancing the number. Not sure if I'll set a goal this time. Last time I aimed to complete the Pokedex before Pokemon Black and White released, this time I'm not too sure. If I have a goal in mind, then I'll post it.

Will I complete the Pokedex? I've already done it a few times before, so it's quite possible. So anyway, wish me luck, thanks for reading and later.

I've been catching and trading in X and Alpha Sapphire in an attempt to maybe eventually catch all except several that are uncatchable and most likely won't be traded. Good luck Captain N!

That one is going to take a while too since I only had the free trial to Pokemon Bank. I can help you out with the Pokedex if it involves legendaries, but I'll need them back. And till I get a New 3DS since my old one doesn't work well. And thanks!

I've never played a Pokemon game, so I've never caught shit. But I hope to rectify that soon!

Nice! It's my favorite rpg series of all time. If you want to start, go with either Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, or X/Y if you have a 3DS. But I highly recommend Hearthgold/SoulSilver on the DS.

Good luck! I've only come close to it in the G/S/C days, but with the subsequent games, I just like catching the ones I like.

Me too, I actually completed it in Crystal with the help of a friend. Where he got me Mew and Celebi I don't know. I think alot of people do that with Pokemon when it comes to favorites.
