A few people commented on my previous blog about  Mario and Yoshi  having a guest apperance in The Twin Snakes, so I decided to find them and post a photo. And I have a few more Easter egg photos also.

Mario and Yoshi

*all photos courtsey of GH*

If you shoot Yoshi He will make a noise, but if you shoot Mario, the phrase 1UP appears above his head

1UP...look real close

These figurines can be found after Snake fights Raiden The Cyborg Ninja

Also after the Ninja fight you can find a

Gamecube and wireless controller

In Metal Gear Solid 4 in the upstairs of the First Briefing you can find the

Phat Playstation 3

Backwards Compatiable

So these  are just  a few more Metal Gear Easter Eggs. Since I've finished MGS1 Japan, I was going to play MGS1 US release, but I decided to play the Twin Snakes now and save MGS1 for last, since it is my favorite. Plus I already started Twin Snakes so I could find these Easter Eggs.

If you know of a particular Easter egg and want to see a photo or video just leave me a comment and I will try to find it and post it.( or even better, you post it, remember YOTS or Year of Metal Gear)

That will give me a reason to play Metal Gear.....

Like I really need another reason to play...hahahahaha

I like the Ape Escape mini-game in MGS3.

You REALLY should try and track down Ape Escape 3 since there is a Metal Gear mini-game in that.

I also know that a couple of Rumble Roses ladies are playable characters in the PS2 online mode of MGS3.

Cary:  Yes, I've been planning on buying Ape Escape 3, and I have played as one of the Rumble Rose ladies in MGO...I even have a video of it,

I always wanted one of those Wavebird controllers, but they didn't have rumble, apparently. I think I actually remember finding that Mario; loved that Easter egg.

I think you may have helped me figure out what game I'll blog about today. lol

Joe:  I remember the print ad for the wavebird, you could just make out someone sitting on the John and you could see his game set up from the bathroom. He was holding the wavebird.

That's really neat GH! I'll have to try and find some of these. I wish I had Twin Snakes on Gamecube. I was reallly late to this series, and didn't buy it untill they released that collector's set or whatever on ps2.

Aaron:  The graphics in Twin Snakes are really awesome, And the gameplay is a lot different from MGS1 playstation,  Twin Snakes plays and controls more like MGS 2 on the PS2.  You can even hold up guards to collect dogtags just like in MGS2. I found my copy used, because I didnt have a GC when twin snakes was originally released.

I have nothing useful or interesting to add here. It's almost 2 AM and I have no idea why I'm still up...

In MGS3D, the 3DS version of MGS3, there are some Yoshi figures instead of those frog ones that you have to find and shoot. I don't have it but the trailer for it showed the easter eggs. So, are you going to get a 3DS to play that version :P JK but nice finds on those easter eggs.

Capt.  I seriously thought about getting a 3DS so I could play it, and one day when the 3DS is cheap, I will buy one.  Im gonna look at youtube to see if I can find a playthrough, that sounds pretty cool.

Metal Gear and Mario?! How could I have missed this? Cue the over the head exclamation point and dramatic alert music from MGS! Cool

Viewtful:  Sorry, I missed your comment?  I think that is what sets the standard on how many people feel about a certain game, it being the first one they played of a series. MGS was the first home console I ever played, hence the love for MGS!

Now this part I do remember. I wish more games put little objects like that in there. Exploration is a fun part of any game. Need more of it.

Sonic:  You should get it even if you dont play it...it would be a nice addition to your GC library
