Gotta Collect Em All?

Hey there Pixlbit. Today's topic is amiibo. Amiibo are nfc figures from Nintendo like Skylanders, except they work on more than one game. The ones out now are based the current Super Smash Bros. game, and with the new Super Mario collection on the way. Some are common like Mario, while others like Fox and Captain Falcon are rare. Especially store exclusives (more on that later). I'm not sure how many I'll get, but I'll only get the ones I want the most. Which are those, well these:

R.O.B.

I want this one because there's no way I'll ever get an original one, plus this one takes less space and its probably way more cheaper too. We are most likely getting the NES one, but will Japan get a Famicom colored one?

Wario

I want a Wario one because Wario is such a silly character. Sometimes when I use him, I don't fight seriously. I can see him being fairly common.

Palutena

I liked Palutena in Kid Icarus: Uprising because of her dialouge interaction with Pit. It was always funny to see their reactions and conversations. I can see this one being rare.

Fox

I missed out on this one when it first came out and I regret it. I heard Starfox Wii U will get amiibo support, which means I'll need a Fox amiibo.

Zero Suit Samus

I recently mentioned that Zero Suit Samus was one of my favorite returning characters because of her new abilities. Now I need one of these to complete the Samus amiibo I have.

Marth

Another amiibo I missed out on at launch. I originally intended to pick this up as my first amiibo but I had to get Link because it was sold out. It's hard to find it at store and the prices are about 3-x it's original price. Nintendo said they were going to reissue Marth for Codename S.T.E.A.M. which gives me a second chance to get. If I can't get Marth I'll just have to make due with...

Lucina

Lucina (along with Robin and Ike) will work in Codename S.T.E.A.M. as playable characters. Should I not get Marth, Lucina will fill that void.

Shulk

Shulk has become one of my favorite new characters in Smash and in terms of favorite characters. His amiibo is, sadly, a Gamestop exclusive. Probably because Xenoblade was a Gamestop exclusive. I have one to ship to a Gamestop store nearby but they haven't sent it yet. I'm getting a bit worried. If anyone finds an extra, I'll glady buy it in someway or another.

Captain Falcon

This one is one I really regret not getting when I had the chance. It's now worth more than it's original price unfortunatly. I'm hoping one day I'll luck out and find one at a store.

Rosalina

This one, (along with Shulk and Captain Falcon) is one I wanted the most. It sold out really quick the day the pre-orders went live last year. It's a Target exclusive and I didn't find not one the day wave 3 came out. I hit alot of Target stores and didn't find not a one. It's really expensive, with it being around 50 to 70 bucks at amazon. I bet majority of scalpers got this one. As much as I like Rosalina, there's no way I'd pay 50 for an amiibo of her, unless it was it's base price or 20 bucks.

Those are all the amiibos I want. I'm not going to collect them all because that's an impossible task, expecially with store exclusivity bullshit which makes it even more difficult. Are there any amiibo figures you want? Did you miss out on any of these, or some I didn't mention? thanks for reading and later.

So far i'm content with someday getting the ones of Peach and Link. You should also know that there's one person that was part of the reason why Rosalina amiibos are rare. Google mariotehplumber if you dare....

I don't have Peach but Link looks really nice. And yeah I know what happened with the Rosalina amiibo. I will own one one of these days.

Now that i think about it, Zero Suit Samus has a similar outfit to that of Stupid Sexy Flanders.

Really hate that alot of the amiibos are rare. I know skylanders occasionally has ones that tend to become somewhat rare but this is ridiculous. Nintendo has made millions in these figures so making more is not out of the question. I'm hopeing with time they will. I currently only have 3 and 2 are rare. I have Zelda, Pitt, and Falcon.

Some here. Nintendo knows there's demand for them, yet they don't bother to reissue them Also scalpers are to blame. They know which will become rare. I know Zelda is fairly common which is a surprise.

I only really want the Pokemon ones. Pikachu will be easy but they just had to make Lucario a Toys R Us exclusive

Yeah, store exclusives is what I don't like about them, its the reason I couldn't get Rosalina and why I might not get Shulk. I don't know why they are exclusive since you can get them at every retailer around the world.

These are cool, but I'm not really a collector of figures and stuff. I would like a R.O.B. though. Didn't know they made them.

Neither was I but have been collecting figures as of late. R.O.B. might look neat though and Nintendo said each SBB character would get an amiibo.

I really want the Meta Knight figure. Not only because it's a Kirby character, but I really want to use it in the upcoming Rainbow Curse. I managed to get a Rosalina at Target, but I may have missed out on Lucario since there's not very many Toys R Us stores nearby. I'm also looking forward to Mega Man and Pac-Man Amiibos.
