I sat down to play some Tales of Xillia 2 this evening, and fell asleep sitting up with the controller in my hand. I'm not awake enough to come up with anything more for BaD today. I'll come up with a plan this weekend for more interesting blogs for the rest of the month. 'Night all!

Good night Tami. You could at least include a wildlife pic.

That would have involved staying awake long enough to find one I liked and then post it.

I wish I could go to sleep. I'm at work for the night, I'm hopeing starting in march I can switch to a day shift. Enjoy the sleep! Night!

You do overnight care, right? One of my best friends came back up to Maine from Philadelphia to help her grandmother after her uncle had a series of strokes last weekend, and their overnight care person DID go to sleep and Kathy had to get up with her grandmother all night while the caregiver slept soundly on the couch. Gives a bad name to all the good people who don't do that :(

Let them know that they should wake her up, they don't have to let her sleep. I know nights can be hard on people because we're use to sleeping during the night. However they shouldn't be worried to wake the caregiver, she of course should have slept enough during the day to be up or be a light sleeper. I know people who can sleep and hear their client.

She admitted to working three jobs. That, plus the fact that she opened the door to a total drunken stranger at 10 PM, meant that the family asked for a different person. New person is awesome, I've been told.

I've never fallen asleep with a controller in my hand.  But I often fall asleep sitting upgright at my desk.  Hurts my neck.  Frown

I do it a lot, usually when I've been doing a lot of physical labor.

That's because you're still a young whippersnapper. Us old farts need our rest. That, and I've shoveled the equivalent of 60 cubic meters of snow three times in the past week. I was knackered.

It's definitely as good as the first Xillia game, in my opinion. It's a direct sequel, so most of the characters and locations from the first game are back, and it takes place a year after the events of the first game. New main character, and they've added a "find all 100 missing cats for the crazy cat lady" collectible quest, and then you can send the cats off to various locations you've visited to bring back stuff for you.

Haven't fallen asleep with a controller in my hand yet. Came close with a handheld a few times, though.

The only time I ever fell asleep playing a game was during the ending for Metal Gear Solid 4. I had worked all day and it just dragged on and on for forever. A lot of RPGs make me sleepy though for some reason. Undecided

True gamer right there! I've done that once or twice, myself.

I used to, and that means like only a year or two ago, rush over to my friend's place to play games in the early morning after working very late at night. On a couple hours of sleep, I'd last until about noon and then fall asleep at the controller. That was kind of fun, but I"m keen to improve my health and think it's really bad to keep doing that. So now I let myself sleep later, but sometimes I get too excited and get up way early. Like today for instance. I think I got about 6 hours of sleep. I thought about nodding off once around 4, but after that I was fine.
