Today was interesting, I turned on my 2DS and couldn't put it down. I think Fantasy Life is trying to steal my soul. I did make good progress in it. I accomplished getting the 3 goddess treasures and working on some of the many million side quests I took upon myself to achieve. I also worked on getting the Tailor Life leveled along with Hunter. I worked a tiny bit on Blacksmith and Carpenter. Tonight I'll probably try to finish more side quest and maybe start the alchemist life.

I really wish Level 5 would go back to their Dark Cloud series and make another game or give me a remaster on PS4 of the 1st and 2nd game. I know both of those things are severe long shots. Dark Cloud was my favorite PS2 title, I enjoyed every minute of that game and I wish I had a way to go back and play it. Dark chronicle A.K.A Dark Cloud 2 I enjoyed the lil I played of it but I didn't get to play a huge amount of it since I never owned a copy of it. Rentals from blockbuster, oh those were the days. Anywho Level 5 proved with Fantasy Life that they can make a fun great game still. Maybe one day...maybe.

I have been playing Darkcloud 2 on and off for years. It is another one in the started and not finished backlog. The trailer for Persona 5 made me feel the need to finish Persona 4 so I dug it out but have yet to take the dive. I'm about 3/4 of the way through but I have not played in a couple years, not sure how easey it wll be to jump back in.

I need to finish Persona 4 golden so I understand, I also have a ton of games in my backlog. Im hopeing to one day maybe ill get to play DC2 all the way. Persona is tricky, you might be able to jump back and it all be good.

never played Dark Cloud.  I missed out on a lot of PS2 games cause it was kind of a period when i wasn't really playing video games in my late twenties.

Dark Cloud was a fun action RPG. I enjoyed the hell out of it. If you ever get a chance to enjoy some older ps2 titles and find Dark Cloud, I highly recommend it. It was released on PSN in Japan, I dont know if they plan to bring it here though.

Fantasy Life looks interesting.  I'd like to try it, but don't have the time right now.

Dark Cloud was fun even if the dungeon was a little drab, I didn't play much of DC2 but I hear it was better than the first game.

I didnt play enough of DC2 to completely say if it was better or not but I will say from what I play it was just as good. I loved the dungeons in the first game.lol!

Ahh, someone also remembers the Blockbuster gaming rentals. I used to rent some Nintendo 64 games from them.

I didnt rent many N64 titles but I did rent many ps2 and gamecube titles. Even a few orginal Xbox ones. I do remember though renting the legend of zelda before buying it!

I have Dark Cloud and would love to get a copy of the second one. I love what I've seen of the world.

I dont know if the second one is hard to find or not. Do you happen to have a movie trading company near you or any company that specializes in used game sales on all old systems? I know Ive seen both at some point in the stores near me.

I remember looking at it at Gamestop when they were unloading PS2 games, but it was a little pricey at the time and I didn't know anything about it. I've seen some screen shots now and that did it, but I think it might be difficult or even pricer now. I am going to check around though.

Fantasy Life does look pretty interesting. Maybe I'll give it a shot if/when I'm able.

Its a pretty fun RPG and it can be short if you dont plan on doing every last lil thing, unlike me who probably will.
