I didn't like Ascension as much as I was hoping I would, but I still thought it was worth watching, especially compared to most of the stuff the scifi network has played over the last couple years. I don't want to give anything away, but I will say that later there are some answers to the things that you are questioning.
Ascension. Is it BaD?

I watched the first episode of Ascension last night and I'm not sure I'm interested in continuing. I can't wrap my head around the fact that they were able to build this massive high tech spaceship back in the 60's but somehow couldn't manage anything other than reel to reel video in black and white. It's also a 100 year trip and so far they've been on it for 51 years and haven't needed to stop for gas. I can suspend disbelief for a lot of things but somehow I'm not buying in to this one. I'll probably give it another chance but I'm not holding my breath.
I managed to get through all of your blogs backwards today and let me tell you that was a feat in itself. I commented wherever I could think of something to say and sometimes even if I couldn't. :)
In gaming news I continue will checking out the games sitting on my PS3 hard drive to see if I want to keep them on there.
My next choice was Bloodrayne Betrayal. I remember a certain Ben who doesn't come out to play anymore saying he liked it so I checked it out.
A side scrolling beat 'em up where the environment can damage you as much as the enemies and I kept dying and trying. I decided to keep it because the more I tried the further I got. You get to suck blood too.
I've switched to playing Suikoden II on the PS3 because they somehow screwed it up on PS TV and it glitches in the opening cinema and occasionally as you are playing it. It's not awful and only momentary but I decided to see if it happened on the PS3 and it doesn't.
I checked out other PSP and Vita games on the PS TV and they don't appear to have the same issues so it's not the device.
The other cool thing I forgot to mention is that you can use your PS3 to store games from the PS TV so that you don't have to download them again. It's a cheaper way of keeping many games local without a huge memory card. It's not all that fast but it works. I was able to copy my save file from the PS TV to the PS3 and continue my game without missing a beat.
See you tomorrow Pixlbittalion.
My ball!
