I got nothing. This has been somewhat of a slow week for gaming news in general. I guess I'm still waiting on the release for Revelation 2 this month. I don't know what platform I'm playing on and I don't know if I'm going to wait for the entire game to release and buy it all at once? I'm not excited for Monster Hunter 4 anymore. I guess I could put 300 hours into a portable game, much better than sitting in front of the TV for that long. I played Majoras Mask when it released, and I would have preferred an HD update on WiiU honestly.

I guess the only interesting thing that came up in gaming this week was the inclusion of Episode VII levels in the new Battlfront coming out this year.

As for currently playing, I fired up my Kindle Fire and noticed some great games had gone free.
I'm playing through a couple of interactive story games which are actually two of the best story games I've played in a long time.

One is called 80 Days, in which you travel around the world in a steam punk type world and meet lots of interesting characters along the way. Very text heavy, but very good. Highly recommend, everybody run out and try it.

The other is Sorcery 2 a choose your adventure type game in a Dungeons & Dragons type setting. It has a beautifully drawn map that you get across by moving a little figure across and talking to loads of characters. There is some combat and at one point a dice game. Super text heavy, more like an interactive novel, but totally rad and I recommend everybody run out and get it.

Whatcha been playing?

episode VII levels?!?!?  I didn't hear that.

I've never been able to get into the monster hunter games.  I've given a couple of them a try, but it's never taken.

I've heard of 80 days but I haven't played it yet.  I've heard it's really fun.

And don't worry about BaD!  The weekend is here, plus if you don't feel like blogging, just take a day off and get back the next.  It's the thought and having fun that counts.

Yes. Force Awakens levels confirmed on some StarWars site or whoever is making the game, EA or whatever.

80 Days was free?! Dang, I've been meaning to get it but it's never so much as been on sale on the App Store. I think I'd really enjoy it. And the Sorcery! games are actually an offshoot of the Fighting Fantasy series of gamebooks and was originally a book itself. But man, Amazon has set up some nice freebies for its users. They gave away Monument Valley for a day last year too.

Aw cool! Fighting Fantasy. I have one of the games on DS. I want to get to that one.

Those games are $5.50 apiece on the Canadian store. :(

You say you've got nothing and then you write something interesting. LOL

I normally play mobile games on ipad, and I read books on kindle, so I was surprised to see these games on kindle and they are just really great.

I haven't been playing anything, but I'm getting there ... in a big way.

Dig the art style for Sorcery 2.

WAIT, in the new Battlefront, there's going to be SW VII levels? I'm really excited now.

Yes. Force Awakens stages and probably DLC after the film release. Yeah!

Been playing Persona Q and Lost Odyssey.  Started them not that long ago.  Just starting to get my grove in them.
