So the deal on Amazon changed from PS4+Shadow of Mordor+Last Of Us Remastered for $399.99 plus changed to PS4+Shadow of Mordor for $429.98. No thank you.

But Gamestop had a $399.99 PS4+Last of Us Remastered bundle so I have held that for pick-up. Looks like I'm getting in on this generation today. Exciting stuff.

Gonna have to work out and revise my survey before getting it, but that should not be a problem.

I feel good about it considering the PS4 is outselling the One and is probably going to have more variety of support from worldwide companies (i.e. Japanese). Reminds me a bit of the PS2 era that way. Plus, I can connect to Steam.

So I guess I won't be lamenting not having any new systems any more. I've become LESS responsible with my money as an adult, having never owned a TV or gaming console as an undergrad, and I must say being an adult is overrated. I think I got in a bad headspace back then because I denied myself so often, but now there are things I want I'm willing to work towards instead of assuming the worst and saving every penny only to have it go towards nothing I want.

Granted, The Last of Us will be my only game for a bit, but a GameFly subscription is probably coming and I may ask for Bloodborne for my birthday (even though it comes out a day after said birthday).

Don't forget about a PS+ subsciption. They release a bunch of games on that service each year. This month the free games are Transistor, Apotheon and Rogue Legacy.

Oh I'm sure the Gamestop employee will remind me, but for now I am just going to get the bundle I held for pick-up. I might get PS+ as soon as tomorrow, but I just don't buy thinks without thinking as a rule, unless it's beer or food.

Well if you invest an extra 50 on PSN+ you'll have a ton of games to play.

That's a problem for weekend me to solve.

Hell yeah you're getting a PS4. PS+ is good to have because of the freebie games every month as well as discounts on downloadable games. Good stuff. Oh I'm GoAztecs on PSN.

Did you get a warranty on yours or you think that's a waste?

I believe Jesus also said to get PS+ . I never get the warranty because I always thought it was of money.

Congrats on the PS4. You know, i'm opening more to the console but at the same time I don't feel like I would like one at this moment. Plus, i've got my Wii U for company and that one has much more exclusives I want than in the other two big boys.

If you have a Wii U and an up-to-date PC, I think your set. It just feels right to buy a PS4 for me right now. Especially with the offer.

Congrats on the PS4! I kind of know how you feel about money. Me and my brother didn't have access to it that often growing up. So it was inevitable that we'd have to save up or scour the bargin bins. I'm way less responsible with it now. As my hideous backlog can surely attest to lol.

Yeah, in the Blockbuster days, no one bought anything unless it was a big event. At least that's how I and most people I know were. It'll still be like that for me. I'm betting Game Fly and free PS+ games will be much of my experience.

I"ve heard that both PS4 and Xbox One have exceeded the amount of consoles sold over their last gen versions at this time in their life span. It's says good for lots of games coming to both of them. It's going to be fun for me trying to figure out which one will be my main console and which one I'll get just for exclusives.

Yeah, I'm happy I bought a PS4 since it seems to be selling the best and PSN+ is a good service/Japanese developers may be more keen on it/the user base may justify more exclusives from companies etc.

Well, my point was that they are both selling well and will both get lots of games. I don't think a slight edge by either one will make much difference. Which is great! I want to see them head-to-head fighting for every exclusive and special feature. It'll only make both systems better.
